  1. My mate's just outside Dudley. He's happy to leave the car with the valeter for a couple of days if its going to be a solid job.
  2. My N/A was doing just this. I had a full geometry reset and some good rubber on the back - Toyo Proxes T1R's. Absolutely transformed the handling, drives like its on rails now even in the wet. By the way, I had Dunlop SP9000's before and they were pants in the wet, compound is way too hard, toyo's will wear quicker but the grip is far superior. Off Ibrar too, good price
  3. As per thread title, not for me but a friend. Poor chap only has an Audi A4 but wants a top polishing job. Can anybody suggest someone in the west mids please? cheers

    suuuup!

He has a sense of humour though......fortunately
  5. Ditto that bit of a PINTA in traffic but you get used to it, gives you quick gear changes too
  6. bored again....apologies in advance http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_yorkshire/7679695.stm Lx
  7. Your starter motor could be in need of a refurb, my N/A's had two now in the last 2 years
  8. You can always offer to help stack the shelves Or just eat less.....
  9. Are scare tactics the right way to deal with the issue? At that age kids are likely to do exactly what you DON't want them to do just because they're awkward! Not that I was ever like that, personally:innocent: Can you find out for her what public transport links are available, can you not buy her a bus pass or maybe assist her in finding some local friends that she can travel together with, rather than on her own? How about contacting the local station for a friendly WPC to have a chat with her?

    Dash Colour

Well, either way you'd need to remove the dash. Adhesive breaks down after time and the edges can peel, a good paint job will last though You'll also be able to get a more accurate colour match as you can choose from a far wider specturm of colours. There is probably a 'how to' guide on here for painting if you do a search. If you really want to go up-market you can send your dash to Nic for a really tidy carbon weave finish
  11. Sadly it seems that supermarket shopping brings out the worst in people - selfishness, rudeness and no perception of space!! They seem to mill around aimlessley like drugged cows:moo: Try avoiding traditionally busy periods such as Friday's and weekends. I tend to go on a Monday evening, about 9pm when the weekend madness is over. If you can find one that does 24hr shopping go at silly a.m.
  12. I wish someone would drop something heavy on that monstrosity......like a double decker bus .....might improve its looks
  13. Who wants to be a crowd follower anyway?? I think it looks striking I've seen a similar coloured one in Wolverhampton, low to the ground, looked and sounded great. Horses for courses isnt it?
  14. aw.. are you struggling? you could always start going to the gym or step up your wrist curls Or call me and I'll do it for you .....dear me...tut tut......
  15. Not unless you hit both tyres It sounds like they're toeing out, my fronts were doing the same - really annoying when there was loads of tread on the centre and outer rim.

    hi :)

and Welcome!! Great colour too Pics would be great...... Linda x
  17. Old age wear and tear might be causing the suspension arms to drop - joints/bushes etc so you could get the components checked out, although a full geometry check should cover that. Sadly can't help but if you get desperate and fancy a trip to Birmingham I know of an excellent place, sorted my wayward beast out splendidly
  18. For the front only inc discs Gaz?? Sorry for the thread hijack Linda x
  19. Be good to see Jules too, will have to kidnap her for some girly chat
  20. Well hun, seems your pretty much decided deep down. To be honest, I don't think many of us could face having to personally break their own supra if worse came to worse.....unless your a mechanic you probably would get your money back and maybe a bit more but..... It would be easier to let go and move on, keep all the money to get a decent car. If you bought it back you would have less to spend on its replacement. Feel for you whichever way you go Lxx
