The ONLY downside to these seats is the plastic bit behind your head. With most race seats they have two separate holes, but these have one solid piece of plastic that you tend to bump your head on. Personally never bumped mine but I've heard more than one girlfriend complain...

I think the Recaro name you're looking for is the Recaro Speed.

I removed mine too as the body shop couldn't make it fit with my do-luck bumper. I just had an accident in my car (although not too fast) and the radiator/fmic are fine. The bumper took almost all the impact.... Not sure what would have changed with the crash bar of Hijack>

I bought myself the limited edition genuine supra carbon fibre steering wheel, and then realised that I had a tiptronic wheel, so couldn't use it. I eventually sold it to my mate and now that I'm going manual I want to kick myself PS: Good job mate, like it!

A lot of the screws and plugs you can get from toyota brand new for very little as well. I usually like to pop in new screws

Yes, but then you know it's done right and you know the ins and outs of it. I've seen the videos on youtube etc of this vanishing point supra being abused in parking lots far too many times to trust the build. Then again, fixing it won't be as expensive as starting from scratch, but I love it

Yup, there is a drop, like I said, to stop the carpet ripping out the plugs when you drop the seat -
Tht's the one... Although I want to build my own. Anyone can buy a fast car, but to make your own is so much better..
