    I haven't driven at speed since the crash but GVN had a look at it and they reckoned it was okay. (I still won't be doing any fast driving). The bumper is trapping the bonnet down as well as the clasp that is still in place... Should be okay until I have it repaired. Just waiting for the parts and It'll be done. I hate having a "broken nose"... Just call me Miss Daisy!

    It does let the hot air out. You can see how much actually comes out now and it's quite scary how hot it gets under there. I've pushed it down as much as it'll go, and taped up the few broken pieces on the front bumper so it doesn't look horrendous. Cheers for the compliment

    Does anyone want me to park outside so as not to lower the tone? My car has a little bash on the front and the bonnet is a bit buckled...

    I'm going to run my intercooler pipe down instead of through the fender, so I plan to pipe air up through the std intercooler hole maybe even using the std intercooler pipe.

    Haha, not sure about that but realistically it can't be that hard... I've worked with fibreglass before doing car audio installs, so once I've got a nice template made up I can have it coated. The only problem with these is that everyone has a different air filter and turbo, so they tend to extend and start in different places making it difficult to mass produce a 1-size-fits-all solution.

    I'm going to manufacture my own custom one when the time comes and have it ceramic or some other coating to protect from heat. I'm also going to coat the pipe leading from the air filter to the turbo.

    Sorry to do this to you Nic, due to your shipping times this is aimed at UK suppliers I need new facelift headlights for my insurance claim. I'll be putting the garage in touch with the supplier...
