  1. http://www.t04r.com/techarticle.php?id=5 Have a look at this. It's not worth doing the head unless you're building a 1000BHP monster and are taking competition seriously. Toyota did a great job on the head.
  2. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=2363577#post2363577 Have a look at this for the ratio's etc. ---------------------- http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=41702 This will work out what diff you have.
  3. Why don't you guys email one of the American chaps on the forum (Dusty or V8Killer) - I forget the screen names - and ask them to buy the number of indicators you require, get them delivered in the states and then have them post the lot to you in one go?
  4. Tlicense / Homer are the daddies on info about this. Do a search. They've pretty much mentioned all this on here before.
  5. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=2426208&postcount=552 Link to the post that Ryan recommends it in...
  6. As far as I know both the V160 and the v161 will work in the NA shell as far as fittings are concerned. I believe the flywheel is different, and you'll need to get another diff and propshaft. I was going to buy an NA with the 6speed v161 to use as a donor for my 6 speed conversion but the only part I could have used was the gearbox. All the rest needed getting from a proper 6 speed.
  7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280364965948&viewitem=&afflpt=229590 This is the one I bought.
  8. Get yourself an intake heat gasket. Ryan reckons it was a good investment. $20 from the USA on ebay... Check out the last few pages of his build for the link
  9. Was it as expected? What was the issue?
  10. Width restrictions are going to be an issue Looks great
  11. That could be a bit of an issue. Mine wouldn't even start without the fuse. Does the piece of loom you sent me in the post work for the manual then? I'm going to try it next week as I've been really snowed at work. Not sure on this, sorry bud.
  12. I'm at work otherwise I could check the plugs in the footwell.... sorry dude.
  13. The VVTI hates the traction control being disabled... Stuffs it right up. You could always try pulling the trac fuse, and if nothing changes then you know that the trac isn't connected?
  14. Sorry to hear this rob I hope you sort it out.
  15. Keron, Can I suggest that you start a new for sale thread as this one is so hard to follow now that I just ignore it and end up missing stuff.
  16. No, sorry and I don't have the manuals as I bought it from TerryS back in the day. Nic might know but he's a little difficult to get hold of at the moment with his illness. Doesn't one of the Steve's have one fitted?
  17. I'm interested but not sure it'll be ready by then either If it is I'll definitely be there.

  19. I have the Valcon plus cam which is apparently variable all the way up to 270 degrees at WOT on the intake side, and if what I've read and seen, you can do anything you like with the exhaust side. http://autospeed.com/cms/title_Engine-Ecstasy-VVTi-Supra-Turbo/A_109201/article.html
  20. Good choice on the ECU and mapper Also glad you're sticking to the stroker. Are you still trying VVTI?
  21. It's a bit like marmite... but personally would have loved my car to be that colour. As Kopite said, a few personal touches from yourself, and you'll have a lovely rare car. Lowering it slightly wouldn't hurt either
  22. I love that colour. Only seen a few. Not that keen on the front bumper but if you like it that's cool. Some facelift headlights would look awesome.
