  1. Full lock has just over an inch of clearance.
  2. Very nice. How hot do the cam covers get?

    Bad news

My wife is home and physically healthy, which in a situation like this is the best you can hope for. We're both pretty traumatised by the whole situation though and will take some getting past. She didn't want to see the baby, but I saw him and it's the hardest thing to do in the world. Seeing your little boy lying there dead is something no one should see. He weighed 1 pound 4 ounces and was 29cm long. Everything was perfectly formed so it's now a wait for the post mortem to see if we can find a reason for his death. Thanks again for all the kind words.
  4. Thanks, it was Wayne's idea and I really like it (although it does limit me with regards to making a cold airbox feed). I'll get him to check the full lock. Cheers for the heads up.
  5. That's a relief, a few people on the US sites have hadtheirs missing.
  6. The Whifbitz catch tank: Fittings welded to the cam covers: The paint on the cam covers has gone a bit weird when the welding took place so the cam covers will be painted. Probably black using wrinkle paint.
  7. The IC pipe clearing the bottle: The filler lid open: A shot of the turbo: The new K&N filter fitted with the filler lid for the WI showing behind: The pump for the WI fitted next to the bottle:
  8. Tapping the mounting spot: The bottle fitted The filler lid of the bottle poking it's head out like a curious tortoise: Another shot of the bottle: About to modify the blitz IC pipe:
  9. I initially asked Wayne @ SPC to pop the AEM water injection tank in the boot, but he had a better idea and asked if it was okay. He explained the idea, and I think he did an awesome job. See below for pics: The mounting spot: The filling spot: The hole cut for the filler neck: The rubber grommet to protect the filler and the bodywork as well as clean up the look of things:
  10. A view of the back of the dash with the mounts for the gauges.
  11. You can see the new sender unit on the left on this shot as well as the new heat resistant gasket for the intake. New injectors fitted:
  12. Some modification on the oil pressure sender. On the vvti it's down at the oil filter but with removing all sorts down there they moved it.
  13. The old standard 440 fuel injectors (note the vvti injectors are a different colour to the 440's in a normal j-spec) The new PE650 drop in injectors (note the dice-like numbering system from the guys at SPC) [/img]
  14. Avoid Tdi if possible. They're very expensive and have lost most of their good staff. I'm using Spc in Horsham and they're doing a fantastic job. See my build in my signature.
  15. What are you using the car for once you've spent that money? This gearbox is quite specific and not really suitable for a street car. See Chris Wilson comments here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=2395879&postcount=12 and prices here: http://www.titanmotorsports.com/ppg-getrag-dogbox.html http://www.powerhouseracing.com/Templates/frmtemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=24&SearchYN=N Enjoy!

Thanks everyone for your kind words and prayers. Once she gets through tomorrow physically, I'm hoping she'll be okay emotionally afterwards. She's obviously devastated and recently losing her father hasn't helped. I do believe that there was a reason and I pray we have another opportunity at parenthood
