Not bad, managed to convince the insurers to take the old car and pay me out in full. 2006 Carrera 4S with turbo wheels and GT3 kit factory fitted... awesome car! Just got it today.

I have some of those knobs for sale - and they were special ordered ones with a slight cambered edge to look more expensive (to match my headunit). I'll be selling them at the end of Feb when I get back from holiday. They look like the knob on this radio.. -

Pretty sure someone will get their hands on a bargain. I'm just happy to get the payout I needed. I'll be happier when I get the cheque and it clears Soon but not yet. I'm hanging on until Feb to see what the job market looks like. I'm on a 3 month rolling contract and work is a little unstable at the moment and my contract is up in Feb. If things get better I'll be on the hunt, but if not I'll hold on to the cash as an emergency blanket until I feel positive about the situation. I'll be looking anyway, you know how it is

Thanks again guys. I've received a settlement offer that I'm happy with today via email. They will be salvaging the car so I'm afraid the car is no longer available. Apologies to all that Pm'd me.

There appears to be a few fins bent on your IC. Maybe better to tape some cardboard in front and behind while you're fitting etc...

Thanks for all the comments chaps. At the moment I'm dealing with the insurers and they're being very helpful and accommodating as they're aware that it wasn't my fault and are aiming to settle this quickly and amicably. I'll keep you up to date.
