Hey dude... good to hear from you... Was probably heading home from work... were you in yours?
  4. I'll be taking mine out in about 2-3 weeks if you can wait. If you're still waiting in 3 weeks then pm me... They're in good nick from a '98
  5. I'm all for a meet every month or 6 weeks at Bluewater. The big meets are sometimes a little impersonal and i meet more people at the small ones.

    She said yes!!!!

South....south... south... Africa? Thats where i'm getting married in Feb next year... At a vineyard surrounded by mountains and loads of wine Might be a bit further south than you'd planned but very cheap.
  7. I know this is the wrong place to ask this, but how exactly does it work? I'd guess that it locks the front brakes without the rears? Is it automatic or some kinda manual switch?
  8. Hey guys I've just been down to fit my strut brace and when i removed the bolts there was a big metal washer thing. Must i take this off or leave it on? Also, does anyone's HKS SSQV BOV touch their brace? Cheers Mark
  9. I had an issue with my car hitting 1.6 bar on gain and set on 1, also with the Blitz SBC ID Turns out the vacuum pipe for the boost controller was in the wrong place and getting an incorrect reading.... might be worth checking...
  10. try holding in shift when you close the window (make sure it's the last one you close if you have more than one ie window open). This used to work on older versions of windows.....
  11. Hahahahaaaa.. you're such a smoothie...
  12. Dude, i do the same.. chill for the last few miles and then kill the sound quick... Also, never hurts to kiss some a$$ with the neighbours.....
  13. I reckon maybe a Zebra striped theme with gold and black, and supra written in pink? Sorry
  14. I've had no issues modding mine... Check out my garage for the specs. One thing i noticed was that after i added the FMIC i got more lag in between gear changes. Adding the exhaust and removing the rear cat was the best move i ever made and the new airfilter was nice too. The FMIC and SSQV made it slightly more laggy...but i'm sure they'll be of more use when i go single Before adding my boost controller i was holding at a steady 0.9bar (after all the mods) and now can pull into 1.2-1.25 without running lean on the standard turbo's/injectors/fuel bits, but to be honest it doesn't make too much difference if all you do is drive on the roads (normal driving). The added boost is quite noticable at full "lunatic mode" though.
  15. Thanks Ewen. It's a nightmare, cos the one time i did have it so that it closed properly, it leaked when driving over 60, so every subsequent time i've tried setting it i have to do a 60mph+ test drive, and then try again. Really annoying... Might try again when it's warmer cos my fingers rae starting to hurt... Useful to know it's the side force and not the up force that seals it. Cheers Mark
  16. I have a tiptronic, and it's better imho the the full auto, cos you get to change down gears without moving your hands... very good in and out of corners and once you get the knack of it you'll leave it in manual mode forever (I can't do the auto anymore cos i keep trying to change down on the steering wheel)... I even try changing down in normal cars now that i've got used to it and usually end up changing the radio station on the wheel mounted controls hahaha
