  1. I had j-spec brakes and they were terrible. Much better now..
  2. Never mind. Found an old thread from Alex saying that they didn't
  3. Anyone know if the VVTI's have them?
  4. Just me jumping on an old thread. Do VVTI's have the same system and is is advisable to remove?
  5. gzaerojon does it... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=60528&highlight=gzaerojon
  6. Damn... I gave my carbon fibre one away to a friend. He did do my Brembo brakes and suspension for me though so I suppose I got a reasonable deal.... Got tiptronic, so the TRD one is out
  7. I'd love to but I'm facelifted
  8. I agree that it's quick to react, and if you're the only vehicle on the road it makes sense to leave it on in the wet, but if there are other cars you'll just end up facing the traffic with no power and a lovely "snow" light on the dash... Personally, i never ever have it on, even in the wet, cos a slide I can control to a point, but having no power when you need it is too dangerous. I'm going to change the warning light to green so it looks nicer
  9. The vvti TC isn't any better, in fact, in my book it's worse, cos you can turn it off, but i'm convinced it's still trying to do something even though the light says otherwise, and you can't take the fuse out on the vvti ones (well, not mine anyway).
  10. I'll keep my eyes open. Just signed up to the lexus owners club forum so maybe someone there'll have one... I've also asked Nic. Will let you know Pete

  17. Hi chaps Quick question: Does anyone have a steering wheel from a Lexus is200? I'd like the airbag cover if you do? Here's a link so you can see which one I mean? http://www.ukcar.com/road_tests/Lexus/lexus-is/small/LEXUS-IS-200-STEERING-WHEEL.jpg Cheers Mark
  18. Hi all Anyone know if the is200 altezza ever came with paddle shift tiptronic loveliness? This chap is advertising the fact that his has it. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Lexus/auction-109871681.htm Cheers Mark
  19. I pay £60'ish to fill the j-spec supra, and I get about 240 miles with mixed heavy and light foot driving. My fuel economy actually got better the more I did to the engine, particularly the decat. Decat pipes are cheap enough, give a nice performance boost and better economy.
