  3. Cheers Lui I did look for your kit but didn't see it. Maybe I didn't look hard enough I'm pleased it's coming along so well for you.
  4. subscribed. Looking very good lui. How much do the aquamist systems go for?

    Oh dear

I set one off today in Bluewater, driving really sedately. Maybe it's their alarms
  6. Maybe you should cut the wires in a convenient place and add some bullet connectors so that in future you can unclip them, and possibly extend the wires a bit to make it easier to get halfway off before disconnecting?

    Boy Racers...

True. Nice to know that the noise from the exhaust actually means something

    Boy Racers...

It's nice just to wave, safe in the fact that you'd destroy 90% of them with half throttle... Tip: Don't waste your fuel.

  10. Quite a bit noisier though, with a deeper throatier sound.
  11. Well.... just back from my mates. We manged to get the nut off without snapping the stud, but stripped the nut and fouled the thread on the stud. Luckily he had one of those turner things that cut the thread cleanly again and it all fitted fine. All I can say is - What a difference removing that front cat makes. The spool up time is greatly reduced and in this heat with the BOV off I still get 1 bar. Previously in the cold I was getting 0.9 bar. I reckon it'll get 1.1 in the cold. The response is much better! Thanks for all your help guys.
  12. You should see it awesome!!! he's just stuck 2 apexi turbo's on it (rather large) and is getting all the pipework done now. Should be up and running again soon...
  13. Thanks, that's a small relief, touch wood not snapped yet. My mate rebuilds supras and skylines for a living (and has a supra engined hilux complete with suspension, abs, ecu, dash etc all done by him ) so he's going to have a look for me. Hopefully it'll be okay.
  14. I once gave 3 x 6 foot HOT spanish girls a lift, because my mate (in the front) wanted to take one of them home. The things you do for friends. I don't think they were too comfortable. I might be able to find a pic of them actually...
  15. My mate has ramps etc and all the tools, so I'm heading over there tomorrow Wish me luck!
  16. Not the easiest lying on your back in the street. Will attempt to get it done tomorrow.. Will let you know how I get on.
  17. colour? maybe some pics ?
  18. leather/vinyl/cloth? first dibs if they're what i want
  19. Today didn't go as well as planned. Got the first bolt off, no hassle Got the second bolt loose, no probs, Couldn't move the third, and snapped my universal joint on my socket set in the process. Figured I'd go back to bolt no 2 and then see if I could loosen the cat up a bit with only one bolt on it, and hopefully get no 3 off in the process. Only one problem! Bolt 2 was coming off fine, until halfway when the stud decided it wanted to come out too, so i put everything back on and am going to get someone to do it for me. I don't want to risk breaking off the stud or locking it up somehow. Nightmare. Who'd have thought 3 little nuts were so much hassle.
  20. Just finished the turbo timer...piece of cake... off to get axle stands
  21. PM me. It's a mate who did it and it depends on if you supply the parts etc. I gave him some stuff in exchange (carbon fibre genuine supra steering wheel etc) and some money and supplied the parts, so it worked out cheaper than the UK spec ones. Stops very well.
  22. Thanks Nic... missed this earlier
