  1. Nice thread... I look forward to the answer... maybe turbo's should be done that way, kinda like a shell...

    Supra is sold!

Sad to hear you've sold, but pleased you'll still be around Congrats on the sale and good luck with the house...
  3. I didn't change mine for 3 years (laziness). When I changed it I was glad I did. Won't skip that step again....

    to4r.com

yeah, some nice articles. Good exhaust review if you can find it...
  7. I used to have one. I sold it on ebay for £1... no lies. The chap felt bad so he gave me a bottle of wine as well Bargain!
  8. Pity, as I just had mine done about 4000miles ago by Mr T and it was £2000 Had no idea it was going to be so expensive until after I'd done it....

    ''Forte''

    Haha... I bought some today
  10. It's the same gearbox as the auto but you change gears on the steering wheel. I never drive mine in auto mode, only in manual as it gives me the option to gear down into corners. If I had it over I'd go manual, but only cos I like to feel like I'm doing the driving... The Tiptronic is very good though although the changes aren't really quick enough if your foots flat down, so if I'm dragging, I'll leave it in manual and then I find I have the upper hand in gear changes over the manuals.
  11. You'd have to get in touch with him as it'd be private work. PM me and I'll give you his details. I don't want to get into any trouble for posting this on here. This topic has been bounced around for a while, and I figured I'd just go for the Brembo's based on weight as the general consensus was that the diametre of the disks had not changed, therefore the stopping power should be roughly the same, as there are still 4 pistons (simplified version - use the search facility for the full article). The Brembo's weighed in at under a kilo each and the stock J-spec ones were 2.5kg's each, so I'd assume that the UK spec ones will be closer to 3kg's each. Good luck
  12. I used these calipers and fitted them to UK spec disks. Works a treat... (needs engineered brackets to fit which my mate can supply) Reasonable price! Good luck Jamie
  13. White, Do-luck front, trial rear, LEDS in front bumper. Good fun, cheers mate
  14. Lovely. I've got a soft spot for these...
  15. Hi chaps/chapesses I'm wondering if anyone has a set of the male and female plugs that go into the back of the aircon climate controls. It's for a vvti (not sure if they're the same) Cheers Mark
  16. Very nice... If you get any backfires, look at the dump valve. My VVTI backfired when I lifted off the accelerator with a non-recirculating dump valve, so i refitted the std one... It's to do with the MAF
