  1. Hi all I'm going to pop these up for sale once returned to me. I purchased as a spare set for shows and classic events but given I now have AP Racing Brakes these don't clear. They're currently being freshly powdercoated and will come complete with Michelin Rubber all round with at least 4mm tread and centre caps. Collection only from Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Looking for £800 given they'll be absolutely mint and I sold a set recently for this price. Thanks Greg
  2. Yeah good point Pete. I guess we'll really see the full reliability over the next few years. I'd definitely be getting an extended warranty too.
  3. The other problem is the spec. I wouldn't go for a base T3 as they're quickish but haven't near the potential of the Performance T3. That however is around £800 a month when I last checked.
  4. I think the fact one has covered 1 million miles on 2nd Bat pack is good enough for me and most. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.express.co.uk/life-style/cars/1118293/Tesla-model-electric-car-one-million-miles-Elon-Musk/amp Yes agreed on b and c. Use for me would be motorway mainly.
  5. It's a no brainer. The batteries will last at least 200k from initial reports. To quote..... "Tesla Batteries^Have 90% Capacity After 160,000 Miles, May^Last^For 500,000 miles. Way back at the dawn of the electric car era — about 10 years ago now — the knock on electric cars was that their^batteries^wouldn't^last^100,000 miles"
  6. 8 years IIRC. There is a Tesla that's covered something silly like 1million miles on its second battery pack only. They'll be good for 200k+ easy.
  7. Not yet but I am seriously contemplating selling the Supra and my 335d Estate for a second hand mileage Tesla S. You can pick one up model 100 with 762bhp for around £50-60k with sub 40k miles and it will demolish most things and still return 300+ miles on a £10 charge! It’s a no brainier.

    Diff talk.

I thought you were selling up buddy? Can you use a Big Diff with OS internals?
  9. Got a spare set for sale. See original post and group buy. BNIB. £40 delivered to your door. Don’t think you can buy them on their own anymore? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?349179-Custom-bonnet-gas-strut-brackets-1-Last-Batch Cheers Greg
  10. Have you purchased your new clutch mate or would you be interested in OS Giken Triple that handles 800-1200rwhp ?
  11. I have a set mate. I think they might be 5mm though if any good with the extended bolts. They are H&R. Have you measured up? I only needed 3mm to clear my big brake kit.
  12. Not a fan of the A90 styling at all but you cannot knock the gains. Take the M240i B58 for example and the Big Boost kit and I quote: BigBoost's car: BMW M240i Stage 3.4 turbo Current B58 record holder: ̶5̶3̶4̶, ̶5̶6̶3̶, ̶5̶7̶1̶. Currently: 711 WHP 5.41 100-200 10.85 @ 135 1/4 mile ....so that’s running a far larger turbo system with over 700rwhp and getting a shade less 1/4 than an A90 with a downpipe, tune, MT tyres and some higher octane fuelling. That alone says the platform of the A90 is going to be pretty special once others have modified more extensively. I’m actually really looking forward to seeing what these beasts can do, even if I have no plans to ever get one.
  13. The state of those rear seats. They look scuffed to hell. Price is far too high more like a £30k car tops. Colour looks lovely though.
  14. Yes. Well the white VVTI 6 speed low miler off HJA sold for the advertised £35k.
  15. No it's about £10 for a premium listing with pics etc mate.
  16. Pistonheads is where I listed mine mate and got a decent bit of interest. Highly recommended. It's more of an enthusiasts site so the right audience.
  17. Might have a set up for sale again. Two minds whether to keep them. They'll be freshly refurbed with good runner all round including Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres at the rear.
  18. The majority of cars are running BPU at 1.2 bar fine mate. If you have or get a boost controller then you can switch between 1 and 1.2 bar when you feel like it for a safer bet.
  19. Koyo Rad really is brilliant for the money. I had one on my original 93 TT Auto and ran perfectly with zero fitment issues. Car was running 1.3 bar on Hybrids.
  20. Hi congrats. Definitely get those ceramics running 1.2bar, you’ll feel a noticeable difference. Has the fuel pump ever been replaced do you know? If not go for a Walbro 255 or better still a 485 for more headroom at a latter stage. You’ll be on the stock 440cc injectors so can run 1.2 bar fine and that is the recognised limit of the Ceramic J-Spec turbos although others have boosted to 1.4 bar fine......reliability might take a battering though! Get the car down to SRD in Surrey for a through health check and AFR reading on their dyno. Enjoy!
