  1. Hi all, Had my Supra less than a week, been running excellently but squealed the other day during startup. It was extrememly loud, sounded like a loose belt and not healthy. If you rev it fairly hard it goes away and driving it at normal pace is fine. Just seems to be when pulling off and idling after startup. It's had a new Cam belt fitted. So, I spoke to the owner and he said it may be a dry pulley or loose belt. Then he said that if i'd tinkered with the A/C system it must be that. I switched it off and he was right. Sure enough, if I turn it off and turn the fans down low it doesn't squeal at all. However, pulled out of the car park yesterday and it made a minor squeal again for about 2 secs. Any ideas as to what it could be and how to sort it? Thanks all. Greg;)
  2. Hi bud, Put me down for a set too, sounds very good. Existing ones are minging. Black and Red trim always seems a sound bet to me too. Cheers.
  3. Sounds good to me guys. Where can I get such components from for a good price - anyone got any links for what I need etc? Cheers again!
  4. Hi all, Brakes are in OK shape but think they could do with replacing or uprating. Driving a 93 K plate Auto Supra Twin Turbo RZ and have a budget of £500-600 to spend on the brakes. Can anybody suggest some good replacements that will hold up for a while? Not looking for crazy performance, but more decent stopping capability compared to standards. Cheers, Greg;)
  5. This should help. He lives just outside Whitchurch. If your close to Telford I will gladly take a look around it for you. Thankyou too fredm. May well take you up on that if I'm nearby. Cheers.
  6. Thanks guys much appreciated. Chris I'll give you a call later if that's OK. How you set up for time in the next few weeks - busy schedule or could you fit me in? Cheers. Greg.
  7. Did you manage to sell your red supra on ebay xksupra? Was looking at it a while ago mate.
  8. Ha ha, quality bud. Now there's a man who's got his head screwed on. Think that comment would end my relationship as she'd still say that the near mill would go on more shoes and probably a new bloke. Cow.
  9. Thanks mate. Any ideas where he's located and how I can contact him?
  10. Hi all, New to the forum so please bear with me. Recently bought a 93 Black Auto Twin Turbo Supra and all seemed fine when I picked it up. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to look at the 'before you buy guide' on the forum, hence I wish to get hold of a reputable, yet reasonable, mechanic to give my car a full checkover. I'm not going to fork out £350 odd on RAC just because she's an import. Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent mechanic in the West Midlands area? Many thanks. Greg
