  1. Dunk oh dear god [emoji26] I need to remember the bigger picture!
  2. Thanks. Yes at least I can say I'm not Supra less even for a minute! Will be very strange going to a normal stock TT though.
  3. Thanks, I'm really looking forward to tinkering with it and getting it 100% back to stock. There are a few bits like upper rad pipe etc. I've purchased a few other bits off Lee so price isn't true reflection but not far off asking price. New thread to follow to track updates etc.
  4. Made the trade and look forward to the swap albeit will be a bit strange going back to 300bhp from 800+ and of course an auto! It will be going to Performance@Hart for a full underneath restoration in October/November.
  5. Agreed with Frank but if you really want manual T56 is the only sensible option
  6. Wow yes most likely. It's a stunning car and a great base for a proper setup.
  7. Defend him and his offer all you want in your pleasant little duo. I have other priorities right now and have other ideas where I want to invest the full money thanks, but part ex is potentially still an option. Parts don't have to be had new you know that. It is worth more than that fact. And also get your facts straight it has only recently been advertised as full stock. Anyway let's keep it on topic rather than you two trying to bash the seller and price down.
  8. Hindsight mate. We can all say that about many things bud. If it was right at the time then it was right.
  9. That's only because I said to Lee to take his time and not sell for short money. I'm in no rush to receive the cash and he deserves a fair price. It's not really a chain, it's simply me allowing a good bloke some flexibility. I could of easily said "yes" to Lee in taking your low offer but the only winner here would be you. Now the car is back to stock it will without a doubt gain additional interest and nett close to the asking price.
  10. Yeah but £16.5k is a joke. The car is a beauty and fully worth the asking price. I'm tempted to buy it, it's a great investment and a prime verified example.
  11. Yes Ric's is awesome and very reasonably priced. One of the best resprays I've ever seen.
  12. Yes been there before they offered a full blow over of my car for £1k. Seemed reputable and good reviews. I didn't need a blowover only a single panel done so didn't use them.
  13. PL Carbodies definitely do mate as they are BMW/Merc approved for accident repairs. I'm pretty sure Car Cosmetics do too but not 100% sure. They are easily capable it just depends whether they want to take on a full respray job.
  14. PL Carbodies have done two of my Supras and they are brilliant. However they are expensive. I recently used a company called Car Cosmetics in Bromsgrove and could not be happier with their work. Very reasonably priced and a perfect job on mine. Give Darren a call and mention you spoke to me mate 07894 151432
  15. I’m sure Ibrar would supply a single panel etc of damaged, it would be expensive mind. It is a lovely car but insane money.
  16. Wow the Bomb 2 is lovely but commanding £30k for a nice looking NA-T, making stock TT power and running the poor man's 5spd W58 is sheer madness.
  17. Speak to Lee @ SRD mate he'll be able to sort you out with a good rate and if anything goes wrong as a Precision Dealer can help out. His number +447962171364
  18. Hi mate For the price a journal Precision 6266 is an awesome upgrade with up to 700ish BHP. Can be had for £700-900. Very good spool and power. Check Turtleheads (James) Dyno graph in Dyno section. That would be my choice bud. Get that shitty XS turbo off! Greg
  19. Congratulations mate on a lovely car. You can trim the areas of the bulbs to fit, I have done previously, works fine. 9005 for Facelift from memory. I bought some LEDs and straight fit
  20. I think that was a typo there as these are worth double that at least given UK spec Fog built in and clear mod.
  21. Yes holding £20k down. Not crystilising any losses as that would be mad. If you have spare capital might be worth buying to cost average but only risk capital.
  22. Don’t get me wrong I’m already having cold sweats and heart palpitations! It is a member off here yes and will be staying in the Uk.
  23. If you plan on keeping the car as an appreciating asset then financial suicide. If you plan on using it for fun and plan on keeping it for many years to come and enjoy her fully then crack on with the transplant mate.
  24. Yes but we're not talking about the F10 are we. You can pick up reasonable ones for £15-18k and I bet they will hold their value if looked after.
