yep sorry the two silencers i have misread the exhaust info i didnt see the very front cat just off the downpipe thaught the two silencers at the back were the second cats

just wandering if anyone just did a rear decat for the two back boxes i want to keep the origional tail pipe but just replace the cats with pipes. has anyone done this before? what does it sound like? how much would it cost? thanx in advance

ok just had the car fixed by henstead motorsport in beccles nice guys did a good job and only cost £162 inc vat. on the way home hit a rather big pot hole and now need a new wheel bearing on the back:( just got quoted £112 for the kit then i would imagine an hours labour to fit.

4000 a year including service petrol tax insurance mot thats only if nothing goes wrong. obviously an estimate cuz ive only had it 3 months

i sorry but ... why do all that to a non turbo? i love the N/A i baught it specifically because i dont like turbos ive had 2 turbo cars and i lost faith after 4 turbos between the two so i would and will be making mine more presentable;) if you know what i mean.

got the car booked in for next friday at henstead motorsport in beccles suffolk they are charging around £160 for rear seal and link seal (i think thats what it is) it sounds a lot better than the quote i got from last trans ltd in ipswich £1500.:haha:hopefully the exhaust will now stop burning leaking gearbox oil and stinking the insid of the car out when the smell hits the heater matrix and blows it in my face:( i hope they do a good job

im sure i saw a thing in halfords when i was in there the other day saying they do rim refurbs could be wrong but it might be worth speaking to them you never know
