  1. Sorry if this is a repost; I have tried to search, but don't really know what for! [OOPS][/OOPS] I discovered yesterday whilst driving on that great London car park (M25) that below 12kph/7mph (details courtesy of road angel), the speedo seems to read in Km. This causes the autobox to change up then down repeatedly as the speedo switches between each setting. The speedo needle also jumps downwards at this speed. Not really a huge problem, but is this common behavior or should I look at getting a new converter? Si
  2. Yea; why are the rear wheels like that? More grip through corners or something?! It looks hideous!!
  3. What about (don't laugh...) an Mx-5? I owned one for the past 3.5 years and loved it! Not as fast as a Supra (anywhere near!), but handles really well and excellent fun to drive. Also bullet proof and not too costly to run... Just a suggestion?!

    Paint Codes

Hi, Last week I went on holiday to Newquay with my girlfriend, and rather than lying on the beach wasting all that time(!) we had to do the usual sightseeing... In the course of this I managed to scrape some paint off the front splitter/skirt thing of my Supra, which made me cry... (hint: don't drive into Bodmin jail car park in a Supra) How do I find out the paint code so that I may fix this most hideous of errors? Cheers, Si
  6. Thanks for the replies guys... I've now just got to get up the courage to do it... !
  7. Hi, I really like the shape of the rear of the Supra, and am considering removing the rear wing... I did see one in the members' garage section, but cannot find it again... Does anyone know whose this is or have any other pics? Simon
  8. I have just bought an auto NA, and have noticed this flat spot. Being a noobie, could someone post pictures or a description of where in the engine bay the vac pipes run? Simon
  9. Cheers guys (especially for the prompt replies)... Will let you know how I get on
  10. Yea, I was really trying to find one of those with the three cylinder engines arranged in an "X" shape, but just too rare I guess...
  11. http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/cars_search.asp?modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=TOYOTA&model=SUPRA&min_pr=4000&max_pr=5000&mileage=&agerange=&postcode=ba1+2bh&miles=40&max_records=50&source=0&photo=1&sort=3&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCH It is the red one on here...
  12. It's private, £4250. Said he'd dropped it from £4750, and wouldn't accept any lower at all. From the pictures (there are about 6) it appears to be in good condition; can't see any rust or body damage...
  13. Thanks for your replys guys! I don't really know much about the standard spec on Supras... this one seems to be well kitted out though (auto, leather, aircon, eletric everything), 72k, FTSH. I'll (attempt) to keep objective!
  14. NA... He said earlier that his friend was selling him a car that he really wanted... so possible I guess?!
  15. Yes; just wondering, as he only appears to have owned it for 3 months...
  16. I'm going to see a 94 Supra this evening, and running its plates through the RAC checker shows that the last owner change was in April this year. The guy selling says he owns the car; should I be suspicious? Many thanks, Simon:innocent:
