Could well be me I live in Tunbridge Wells, but my parents live in Southborough and I've friends in Tonbridge, so there.
  2. I agree... should this be put into technical?
  3. Thanks guys... I've asked my folks, the grooms' folks and everyone at work and just gotten blank looks I had a feeling someone here would know!
  4. Hi guys, I'm a best man tomorrow and last night we did the trying on the suits thing... and found out that none of us knows how to tie a cravat (how common are we ). Have obviously looked on-line, but can only find instructions for cravats that have one bit longer than the other (if you know what I mean). The ones that we have from Moss Bros have equal length bits. Has anyone got any experience with this?
  5. Some bloke I work with also http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Bill_Gates (Look at the misattributed section)
  6. I'm afraid this is not actually a quote of Bill Gates'... It was made up about five years ago. Aside from that though, some of those are excellent... lol at the Beatles one!
  7. I work in Crawley, and occasionally drive the Supe to work... I always wave and/or flash (my lights... ) when I see another person with taste Btw, I may well be the red one you refer to; I haven't seen a red one around Crawley.
  8. Thanks for the replies guys... Apparently they had a court order with them, so it sounds legit. Although I have since found out that there is a maximum that they can charge for a £60 parking fine (being around £143), so i shall question them about it (ask for a breakdown; similar to claiming back bank charges) and then off to the small claims court... Why is life so stressful?
  9. Just had bailiffs turn up at my house and 'disable' my supra, with the intention of taking it away. They insisted that they had sent me a letter on 23rd May, which I am certain I didn't receive. When I asked how it was sent the reply was "first post"... not registered or anything! Obviously if I had received a letter with this kind of content, I would have done something about it damned quick! So I am now £480 lighter to save my Supe (and all my guitar teaching equipment in the back of it, which I was not allowed to get). When I eventually proved that I am me (data protection act etc), it turns out it is from an unpaid parking ticket from last year that I was not even aware of.... How can they do this? I'm really quite p*ssed off...!

    Use Me !!!!!

Although you do realise that now people will ask "What Search Button?"... lol
  11. Don't know really... it just struck me as quite cool... Maybe I'm just sad
  12. Is that not what it says? That's why I wanted it...
  13. In France recently, we followed a car with a sticker that I must get hold of
  14. I vote for Champion in Bolougne sur Mer... really easy to find as you go into the town from the A16; bout 15 mins from Sangatte. Good selection of French wines (nice Cote de Rhone for €1.12!)
  15. A while ago my NSF brakes started creaking just as the car was coming to a stop, but didn't appear to suffer from this (apart from a really irritating noise that could be heard quite loudly outside the car). Today I decided to have a look, so once I'd found my locking wheel nut key (d'oh; nearly an hour!) I removed the caliper and pads and give the whole area a good clean. Once I'd put it all back together, it appeared to sort the problem The one question I did have about this whole procedure was that there was uneven wear between the two pads (not across the surface of each pad, but one was at about 5mm and the other was at about 3mm). Could this be that the sliders are sticking and if so, how would I remedy this? Cheers
  16. I've never been called Chav, but I have had several people comment that I don't look like your typical Supra owner... (I have long hair)
  17. Is it actually likely to product 270bhp? From an NA?!
  18. Thanks Pete, I thought it would probably be alright... Just wondered whether anyone knew the actual legality on this?
  19. I'm off to the south of France for a little sojourn in a couple of weeks with the Supra (nice roads ). On my old car (mx5), the headlights were the standard things where I could get beam deflectors that stuck on the headlamp cover to change the beam direction. Since the Sup has projector headlights, do I need something different? Or nothing at all?! Advice would be gratefully received!
  20. Just seen a really nice sup on the M23 southbound, non stock wing (don't know what it was; kind of f&f style). Driving very considerately! I was in my diesel fiesta, otherwise would have said hello
  21. So does this mean that we're going to have to remove these bulbs to pass an MOT? Has anyone passed an MOT with them in?

    rar files

Best thing to use is Alzip... it can do pretty much any archive format ...and it's completely free
  23. I don't think there is a way to do this exclusively through SQL. I think you'll need to write a program (.NET would be easiest... good integration) which will iterate through the backup sets in a specified directory and restore either all of them, or present a list to a user which will allow them to select specific ones... You could write a service that does this as long as you don't need any user interaction. Hope this helps!
