  1. Yeah mate, they look good. A nice shine to them after all the laquer. Working on the second one just now. Should make such a difference as the wheels were/are fook'd!
  2. I'm alright mate, thanks. I've got the centre caps, painting them black also.
  3. I've got a set of 19" Axis Milano wheels, very badly corroding etc. So, I thought sod it... and with the help of a freind we got stuck in on the worst of the wheels. After the above stages we realised the prep wasn't the best as there were alot of duff areas around the rim. So ALOT of rubbing later.... Was going to go for silver lip and black centre, but I didn't like the look of the silver paint so...... One done... I've got another one now, and the hard work of rubbing begins!
  4. True.. you get what you pay for and all that
  5. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/582067.htm I'm open to sensible offers chaps
  6. OMG... how cheap!? If everyone started inflating the sale price, then surely it would help the cause? But again, you'd need everyone to do it. £4000 for a 330+ bhp car.. that's just silly!
  7. They're calling it a supercharger????
  8. Curious as there are some universal style O2 sensors out there. Curious if anyone has tried anything other than genuine toyota parts and with any sucess? Jim
  9. Out of curiosity... how much does a 5 speed conversion cost mate? ( I know they can't take anymore than BPU - ish levels of power)
  10. That looks a bit extreme! Any ideas of how to make the rear decent if the seats are removed?
  11. Really? Surely it can't make that much of a difference noise-wise?
  12. What you got there instead if anything? Any pics of what it looks like without the seats? I was thinking of removing them as they are not in the best condition and to be honest, it's not like anyone can fit in them!!
  13. Ah right, sorry mate. I was going for simply a Gearbox change. I would say about 6K should see you both. I'm sure someone on here was offering a engine swap for 3K also. The right person will be along soon to confirm/correct me!
  14. AS far as I'm aware mate if you give someone on here (Jezz?) 3K or there abouts your car will come back a manual
  15. DOn't rule out an Auto mate. Go for a drive in a decent one before you make your mind up. They really are good! As for petrol costs, yeah they drink alot of petrol! For maintanance side of things, if you can hold a spanner/ratchet and read some good guides on here (along with a little confidence), you'll be fine. About 3years back, I didn't even touch a car with a spanner. Now after simply reading and fiddling I can easily chance exhausts out, do plugs, coil pack clips, suspension etc, etc. Heck, I even swapped the engine over in my old Rx7 simply from reading an online guide. If you can afford the petrol and insurance, go for a TT!
  16. The norm is about £2500 to £3000 is it not?
  17. WHat's the best way to tackle removing the 1st cat chaps? I attempted it myself on my last Supra, but it annoyed the cack out of me!!! Partly because I removed the whole exhaust and replaced it at the same time. Last time I took it to my local tyre type place and it took them 2 days to get it off! lol. Any ideaS?
  18. I don't just use it to commute! lol If it's decent weather out there, then I'll get on the bike. If it's rainy, the Supra. I take it for a good blat once a week at least as it's not good just doing short distances.
  19. Curious what you guys do in a year? I've done 700 miles in 3 months, so I should be looking at 2800 miles a year. I do only live 1 mile from work. What about you guys?

The good thing with my car is that the mileage won't go up that much now. Lucky if I even hit 3000 miles a year with it. As long as you look after these engines, they last for ages!
  21. That's all very good. I've already got the BOV, just need the fitting kit part.
