  1. Don't know yet mate, I've still to speak with him. He's done one of my old cars.
  2. I've looked back through some posts etc and it's been said that they don't need to come out. Not sure how accurate this is though. Really need to wait on somebody who's actually done it themselves.
  3. How do you go about replacing them mate if you don't need them taking out? Mine are looking very old and tired.
  4. IS it relativley easy to do? How do the old ones come off, and how do you go about putting the new ones on? Nic - I will be getting these from you at the end of the month mate.
  5. Squeaky clutch pedals! Argh! ... used to do my head in. Glad I've got an auto now!! I'm sure it's something to do with the pedal assembly in the cabin - or what I've read in the past.
  6. I'm looking to replace the front and rear windscreen rubbers. The parts that go all the way around the glass as mine are looking old and tired. Do they just pull out? Also, how would you go about putting new ones back in? Well sealing them in place. Also... where to get them from? Anywhere other than Toyota? Nic?
  7. I got excited.. I thought you said a few more blitz and would have a heap of blitz stuff. lol. DOH!
  8. the autobix can take a bit of power too. U just need to ensure sufficient cooling.
  9. Bluddy hell, that didn't half shift off the line!
  10. Common problem as already said. My last Supra suffered this, as does my current. With the last Supra I took it to an auto electricians and it cost me about £20 to get sorted. I can easily solder myself, so might tackle it myself. Where are the dry joints located, also what do you do to resolve it? Just heat the solder up again? cheers
  11. Cool. Yeah mate, looks like the lips were possibly painted originally. As for doing the bolts a different colour. They don't come out and are actually made of plastic! This was evident when removing old paint and rubbing down. So no way of making them a different colour and still looking good as they can't be removed without possiblt destroying them. I will get the lips polished etc in the future, but for now they look decent and it's such a difference over what they were like.
  12. Yeah, the wheels were in pretty poor state. The prep for the wheels is very good, so I could change to silver lip if I wanted. Would just need to rub it back and mask of the spokes etc. I was going for silver lip originally, but the silver paint we used didn't look that good tbh, hence why I went black. Is the hyper silver paint paint from a car? (if you know what I mean?). If so, I might have a look.
  13. I've already done it mate! lol. Just wasn't too sure on it. Well, I've done the two wheels, other two still to be done. I just can't get started due to the weather!
  14. Exactly.. once it's on its bum. Then with a TRD spoiler, some skirts and spats, I think it'll look the tits! lol. I would prefer polished lip myself, but it's not something I can be bothered doing!
  15. Got my car on Pistonheads and here for sale. I've been doing so much work on it recently, I've decided to keep it! I just had a chap phone me asking if it was for sale, then loosing the plot because I told him I wasn't too sure!! lol. I've removed the ad from pistonheads for now. It's hard letting these cars go! I always wanted one, then regretted selling my first one.
  16. One there now mate... sorry, you were too fast for me. The car does need lowered (got springs sitting here), so I think it should look alot better when on its bum a little more?
  17. Just recently DIY refurbed my wheels. 19" Axis Milanos. http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/4508/dsc00061io3.jpg The car is manky and needs a good clean/polish. This weather doesn't help! Not 100% convinced on the black on black look. I know Jamie likes black wheels. Should I keep them black? Or something else If not, other suggestions welcome, preferably other pics of black cars, or photoshops? All the hard work's been done, so doing a different colour's not such a big deal now. cheers
  18. I need the pipe in the second pic, will you sell seperatley?
  19. I'll take them mate - pm sent regarding payment
  20. One side of the car complete now.... The non complete side... The complete side... Tyres need a good clean now and the car needs a good damn polish!!!
