  4. http://www.tocbeer.co.uk/pics/DSCN0633.JPG Would look excellent on a mk4! 17x8.5, 114.3x5 I got a set of wheels which i removed from my Aristo TT before selling it. The are the genuine toyota 5 spoke wheels which are similar in style to the is200 wheels. These are wider, 8.5J wide if i remember correctly. They are all in great condition and come with the original centre caps. I also have a non chrome spare which i will throw in with these if required. I also have a set of genuine Lexus Locking nuts and chrome nuts which can go with the wheels too. The 5 spokes are all chromed, unsure if they came out of the factory like this or not. All wheels including the non chromed spare have brand new tyres fitted to them. The spare has a michellin if i remember correctly and the chromes have Flaken 512's i think, they are a good V type tread. They have been used a small bit and were only on the car for around 100 or so miles if i remember correctly. Wanted to hold onto these as i planned on getting an LS400, but plans have changed and now they are taking up space in the garage which i need for an engine conversion. Wheels are located in Reading. email me with offers at [email protected]. I have a figure in my head that i want for these (its very reasonable too) and the first person to offer me a decent price close to this will get them. Cheers Lee
  5. I have bought an R154 gearbox for my V8 conversion and have just decided to instead use a W58 from a mk4 supra. So if anyone has one for sale or would like to do a straight swap for my R154 (stronger and worth more than a W58 anyway) then drop me a line. cheers Lee
  6. Car is now completely back to stock except for the 3G Brembo front discs and Red Stuff Ceramic pads, £2995 just because i want it gone as i want to get on with my god damn V8 swap ebay link
  7. yeah Bracknell Tyre and Battery for me too
  8. BUMP Now on Ebay, no reserve only £3500 to start.
  9. Hiya Ben Just got back from a holiday this weekend, sorry to hear that was your car I've had a car of mine broken into earlier this year so i kinda know what you mean about it not being the same. Things have gone mad in the last few weeks in Reading. Had one van stolen from my road, one bloke come out to find some scum trying to break into his car, another house has been burgled, a lexus was almost pinched over the weekend and then there is of course your car All the best mate
  10. 1JZ and 2JZ looms are almost identical. the gearbox has its own ECU so doesnt matter which main ECU you are using.
  11. Why not build a 1.5JZ? Take the 2jz block and put the 1jz head on. Apparently a good mod as the 1jz head has better flowing, revs higher and is produced to a higher standard. but the 2jz block means 3ltrs and more torque over a 1jz. ECU's are far as i am aware are not an issue as they are all based on (or identical) to the standard A343E. But if the engine is coming out why not fit a W58 or V160 .

    just wondering

i doubt it much dude....all depends on the mods you have. You'll probabaly find a 2.5" system will be plenty big enough and anything over that wont give you any performance gains. If your running BPU++ then i'd say your into 3" and over pipework then.
  13. piece of cake, will go in no problem the 1jz and 2jz are pretty much the same weight, nothing noticable. If anything the 1jz is more rev happy than the 2jz and will provide more response but lacks the top end torque of the 2jz.
  14. Correction....i've just realised it wasnt 8:15 but 7:15.... (damn early mornings playing with my head). I had an MOT at 8 so left mine at 7:15 and thats when i saw it.
  15. Just spoke to benski, fingers crossed is wasnt his....
  16. Woke up this morning nice and early to take my MK2 to have an MOT, and as i pulled out of my drive i noticed a silver mk4 sitting in the road (wrong side too) and half the front end missing.... This was about 8:15...just got back at about 9 and its gone... Anyones on here? WTF happened to it!?
  17. Sure thing, the build will start within the next 4 weeks. Im going to setup a webpage with progress & pics. To be honest though i have done so much research into this conversion....im expecting it to take a weekend to swap the lumps and then only around 2 weeks to get the wiring and other little bits done All i've got left to find is a suppliers for carbon fibre driveshafts...
  18. You know me mate, i have started so many projects hehe But this one is actually 'going' to happen now that i've finally sold that Lotus Esprit hehe. Got most of the drivetrain for the V8 laid out in my garage, just waiting on things to come over from OZ like the bellhousing and the flywheel. Forgot to mention the Nitros oxide system going in as well I must have a death wish lol
  19. I have a mint MK2 1985 so one of the last ones (facelift). Im getting ready to put a 1UZ V8 into it. Should be an easy 300bhp in a car that will weigh under 1200kgs heh heh

    Celica vs Supra

Bahhhh, my old ST205 was over 300 brake and it still couldnt beat a stock jdm mk4 tt on the 1/4. (although saying that i managed a quicker 1/4 time at the pod in the st205 than i did in the uk spec auto tt...heavy heavy heavy) The GT4's only have an advantage off the line, once there is grip is just doesnt have the torque to beat a supra. I dont think that GT4 was pushing anywhere near 600 brake, let alone that supra - looked more like 400 brake to me....
  21. DVD Player and TFT Screen now removed, in place of a standard Double DIN Sony CD/Radio/Cass unit. Price now reduced to £3750ono
  22. haha on that heap? i wouldnt bid on it for £1. Nah im heading MK3 But i thought i'd give you guys a heads up to avoid a poor car
