Just re building a GE engine for turbo conversion and not sure if block needs skimming or not? Engine done 65k with no issues and block and head completely flat. I may be over thinking but what does everybody else think?

Am I right in thinking that Left hand drive supras have there indicator stalk on the left side of the steering wheel like most cars that are right hand drive here in UK and is it easy to fit lhd stalk column switches onto a right hand drive Uk car?

Can anybody confirm that piston diameter is 86mm because I need to buy a piston ring compressing tool?

Just pulling My S2 headlights apart for refurb and think I will fit some Halo rings while I am at it. Any advise ? What sizes are people fitting and how do you secure the rings to the housing? Cheers

Not sure it just looks like a normal tailgate to me with nothing extra or un usual.

I had supratronix and they didn’t work. Sent originals off to SGS and disappointing. Standard original OEM tailgate spoiler fitted.

Has anybody actually got some tailgate struts that actually do what there supposed to? I have had several attempts at this and best I can get is will hold the tailgate up in position after physically man handling the tailgate up without assistance from the struts.

As title brand new from Toyota still in box part No 48510-19555. Cost over £200 yours for £145.

Yeh template isn’t a problem it’s knowing exactly where the template sits on the outside of the bonnet without drilling holes from the inside for reference

I am currently mounting a non genuine bonnet vent and wondered if somebody could measure the measurements of its mounting on the bonnet from rear edge and front edge. I know there’s a template available to cross reference with holes under bonnet but I am not planning on cutting a hole in the bonnet. Cheers guys

So I am guessing place the 2 looms next to each other and then just see what extra the VVTI loom has got and plumb that into the non VVTI loom . I am guessing the extra pins are in the ECU plug ready to be connected?

I currently have a N/A and have purchased a 2JZ GE VVTI. I will be updating the conrods, head gasket, oil pump but problem I have is engine loom. I also have loom and ECU with VVTI engine but the ECU sits in the engine bay on the VVTI engine set up. What have people done to get Round d this? Use non VVTI loom and modified it or extended the VVTI loom with a bridging loom allowing it to feed through the bulkhead and mount in orginal location ?

Yeh it’s not the door card because it make the noise with door card off.

I have perfect condition drivers (right hand) armrest for sale. £45 plus delivery.

Got real bad high pitch squeal when sending drivers window down first couple of times. I have replaced outer rubber and regulator and completely soaked front rubber channel in oil and absolutely nothing. Only thing I can think is motor but it sounds like a dry rubber channel guide type of noise. Anybody come across this?

So it can be modified? How does it work with the main ECU block Connector?
