Well after a year of waiting this Monday sees me and the missus off the Chicago to start our one month trip down route 66, its a trip I have always wanted to do and one that took a fair amount of planning We will spend 3 days in Chicago which is one of my favorite cities and then pick up the first hire car, a Chrysler 300C, then - Chicago and Springfield, Illinois St Louis and Branson, Missouri Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Amarillo, Texas In Amarillo we will stop for 3 days while I catch the NASCAR race at the Austin Raceway Tucumcari and Santa Fe, New Mexico Durango, Colorado and the Silverton Railway through the Rocky Mountains Monument Valley, Utah/Arizona Winslow and Meteor Crater, Arizona Extended 4 nights in Las Vegas and then the Grand Canyon, Arizona Change cars to a V8 Mustang Needles, Rialto and Santa Monica, California Napa Valley wine region San Francisco I will post up as many pics as I can to this thread once we get going !

My 944 was undersealed when the suspension was replaced, as mentioned it is important to remove parts rather than spraying over them, it cost £380 if I remember correctly for the job, it looks great as the new parts really stand out, it actually looks like a new car underneath which is not bad for a 35 year old car

I sold the TS car for less than that !

Its a genuine Topsecret built car with some very rare trick TS parts (Carbon dash etc), the inner door has the TS build badge and it was mapped by TS also It is the kit, I loved it and still do, it appears that I am in the minority however !

This, used him several times and he has been excellent

Mapping through an ECU change (Syvecs for example) will only give you minimum gains with a BPU set up, yes you can optimize certain elements of the power curve etc but the overall gains for the spend are limited (low 400's with 550cc injectors) Welcome though
