  1. Interesting, a non runner with a slipping clutch for 11.5K...................... I must be missing something
  2. Thats so funny as I was saying exactly the same after being TTC on my last BPU,with the Syvecs it makes sense, a very strong torque curve, feels just like a small (very) single
  3. I ran mine for 400 miles at the weekend, needed to know if there were any faults or I would have cancelled, could not face breaking down on route due to no test miles on the car
  4. It will be in TTC mode Abz Great result, just shows what it capable from a bpu set up with a Syvecs
  5. All steel internal refurb is around 900 pounds, they looked like new when they came back, they will make a real 420 BHP with the right bpu mods at 1.2 bar
  6. She was warned, but actually its a bit worse than I first thought, there really is no room so I would be very please if you can help Kayla out, I will be fine, I pack light !
  7. Ryan told me yours was the highest BHP TT manual he had worked on, I was hoping to take the crown but it got a bit hot, need to move the air intake for the turbos and get a bigger free flowing exhaust, I have decided to just go small single instead Really looking forward to seeing your results though, BPU+ has really impressed me this weekend
  8. 400 miles in 3 days and its not missed a beat, not bad for a car with absolutely no road testing before and after mapping, well done Dave, really looking forward to Dragonball although with the stereo I really do have NO luggage space
  9. Very nice looking car, fantastic transformation
  10. Porsche sold (2300!) now need the golf gone so make me an offer
  11. Yes, plan to put a small single on this winter, not looking for massive power, 550-600 would be excellent
  12. Any sponsors yet Colin
  13. Spent some time with the car tonight just getting used to it, I had never driven it before I brought it, really happy with the way it spools up and gets down the road, BPU is underrated
  14. I could do with help on the luggage front
  15. I have 2 Jspec seats, you can have them for £30 the pair, they are at Dave Whittle Services (google that for address)
  16. So worried all day forgot about the picture quality but here goes Getting ready Engine bay Ryan doing his stuff The car The result
  17. Loved it, stick some pics up mate, in my nervousness my photos are rubbish !!
  18. Very long day and as always with mapping a rollercoaster of a day Remember this car was brought for just 4K with a whole bunch of issues, Dave has worked a miracle once again and has turned a tired old Supra into a real headturner, so firstly well done to him The car was only finished this morning and Ryan fitted the Syvecs including traction control, knock sensor etc, the base map loaded it was taken to Surrey RR where after a few little niggles including a broken boost solenoid (replaced with Syvecs), blowing off a boost pipe and a 1bar restrictor ring that was actually 0.7bar (Ryan removed this in the end)the car was mapped to a very safe 1.2bar Results 420BHP fly and 450 ftlb torque, very happy with this for now, drives superb, very impressed with the traction control and launch control The exhaust which is 2.5" is a little restrictive and the intake needs to be ducted to protect from the heat but otherwise a faultless day and one I am very happy with I will get some pics up once I have had some dinner !! ALL READY FOR DRAGONBALL !!
  19. Don't drink and type people
  20. Lads on our stag week in Bangkok in April had hand made suits made, I was sceptical so did not bother, bugger me they were stunning, £60 each with 4 shirts, they are big chaps as well (rugby team) so always struggle to get off the peg, you can get fully measured and get them from India/Asia over the net
