  1. Complete contradiction of a build, why would you be interested in getting the fastest 1/4 mile on stock engine and drive train and at the same time be fitting a huge bulky body kit? Strip it out, and I mean fully strip it out, huge single turbo, NOS and good supporting mods including ECU, drag tyres and you will be on the way, will need to sort the auto box out though, and I would have thought ARP rod and main bolts would be a good idea
  2. Used mine all day today after getting a new alternator fitted, made the most of the traction control, an to clean and wax it tomorrow
  3. Ah ok, garage update needed then, like me !!
  4. It's an auto in his garage ? Worth thinking about ARP rod bolts and main bolts as well
  5. I agree on the injectors, they are not big enough, also think about the following 2 row intercooler is not ideal and will be holding you back potentially Racing plugs would be a good move You are going to be pushing your luck with a stock auto box and 600whp so a couple of coolers needed Don't forget all the silly little things like engine mounts, oil and water pumps, seals etc it all adds up Great to see another car getting built though
  6. Too banged up for me I am afraid, would be a money pit to restore, as mentioned will break for more
  7. Don't think it will make much difference on its own, would only become a factor if you are going very big single
  8. I agree with you Rob, give it a few more years and a fair few of the Supras on here will be no more, only the best will survive and then the prices will go up again We have seen a glut of cars for sale in these tough times for several reasons, I will be painting mine next year and giving the car a light restoration underneath just to keep it in top condition for the future. I have never added up the cost because it is always going to make me feel sick but as long as I enjoy the car and the trips I have in it it all seems somehow worth it
  9. Won't sell the supra anytime soon that's for sure, big plans for next year
  10. As my single is now finished I am ready for my next project, where in Essex are you so I can come over and access how big a project it is
  11. The money invested is never returned and if you don't have time to build it will you have time to drive it, with 5k still to spend now is the time to break it
  12. 500 posts and not heard of Jamie !
  13. I found the TTC with Syvecs and stage ones felt like you were always pushing the set up to the limit and it always drove like it was at the limit of what it could do, it was quick enough but not as enjoyable as a small single
  14. 34 needs removing as I have said before, the pictures don't match the spec, the car was sold years ago and it was superseded by several cars after, has no place on here, oh and it broke down a lot !!
  15. My advice is plan plan and plan, do it once and do it right, gets very expensive to have to keep revisiting a system that you did not spec up for future power upgrades, I know as I keep getting it wrong
  16. It must have at least 550 cc injectors as Jspecs would be causing det at the levels of boost and power mentioned
  17. Stunning, makes me feel like I am driving a shabby old bus
  18. Thanks Tony but actually the Southend meet was a different Supra, (my second of 3 black Supras), this one(it did look the same !!)
  19. You posted one of my old singles, not my current Supra, nothing wrong with that it was a great car, few better pics
