  1. I ended up at privilige insurance after a lot of ringing round, they have been very good and you need 4 years NCB and you have that;)
  2. Guess the general idea would be to get the car checked out to find exactly what spec he has got, you may be surprised and find there is more done than you think because if a garage has put on big twins and not touch fuelling then I would be surprised, plenty of bods on here who can point you in direction of a good garage in Ireland?
  3. I was running my last car (Skyline R32 GTR) on 700cc injectors at 1.5bar and getting detonation and went up to 1000cc (with a whole lot of other stuff dont get me started £££££££££!!) this got me to 735BHP and then my intercooler ran out of puff!! i was also told that the fuel has a cooling effect as well and so on and so on, he needs to get some serious advice from a garage I guess and get the wallet ready
  4. Not quite 'standard' then My point to the guy was that you may get a good figure short term by turning up the boost but at what cost long term with incorrect fuelling!
  5. i stand corrected then! you have 600BHP with standard injectors and ECU, wow i have been throwing money away!
  6. I am not a mechanic by any strech! but i have had a few very modded Jap cars and the work involved to get 600BHP is extensive, you will not achieve this BHP figure with standard fuel rail, injectors or ECU, I think it may even be dangerous to do it as you will be running very lean and could have a lasting downside effect on the engine, I am sure one of the tech guys will be able to tell you much more but take it from someone who has spent a fortune getting big power their is no cheap easy route!
  7. Its a single, running a HKS T04R turbo, 600BHP not had it long, come back to supras from Skylines this year
  8. Yep that was me, great day of golf and fantastic weather! Saw your silver Supra? nice car
  9. i left a 740BHP skyline GTR to come back to a Supra Auto just for the ease of driving in traffic (live in London!) and yet think the pick up is superb and fine the thrill of rear wheel drive totally amazing! would never go back
  10. I am looking for some dress pieces for my new Supra, Battery cover, fuse cover, caps etc, also door runners and shiny wiper blades, has anyone got these for sale, cash waiting Essex area
  11. Have any of you tried Bredbury Hall in Stockport, went there on a stag weekend and they cater for paint ball, shooting etc than has a legend of a night club and you can stay as well!
  12. I agree, I had a T04Z fitted to my Skyline R32 in March by TDI and after the T88 that was fitted before the difference was amazing
  13. I am new to this forum but not to big singles, i have had a T61 in a Supra, a T88 in a Skyline, a T04Z in a Skyline and now a T04R in a Supra ranging from 735BHP in the Skyline to 550 in the first Supra and the figures look very impressive but you will be losing drivability and spending a whole lot of money (T04Z cost me 18K on Skyline with ECU, Fueling and Exhaust!) with it as well, the best advice would be to test drive a big single and see if you could live with the drive every day, I find 500-600 more than enough for every day use and with RWD any more needs extra traction control to prevent wild wheel spins!
  14. I use the car every day and as i drive to the City the triple clutch in the Skyline was a real pain! either on or off and you need a lot of revs to prevent stalling, the Skyline was super quick but it has to be drivable also! The Supra is a much better looking car than a Skyline as well! You can see my Skyline at GTcars.net its the Grey R32
  15. yes i thought that when i saw the car for the first time in pictures, it is a HKS exhaust but have not had the time yet to find out which one!! will let you know when I do
  16. Thanks to all for your great welcome, a couple more pics then i will have to get talking about where i can get some of the engine bling and what ICE looks best!
