  1. I swopped my R32 with GTcars for a supra, would like to know where that is now
  2. Good Post Chris, Glad you never said dont go for 6 speed as I have just forked out on a full conversion kit !! just got to decide on the clutch
  3. why not the 6 speed?? Jezzy has one coming in very soon I think
  4. I wonder if it was my old R32 which I swopped for a Supra?
  5. It is a knock at GT cars and not that actual car which is very nice if you like that sort of thing
  6. Dan mapped the car at Turbofit, we got to 1.2 bar before the slip started, shame really as we were really happy with the gear change, I was looking at going Boost Logic or TH400 but Gamer has issues with the boostlogic box letting him down so I am going manual
  7. I have had the AEM fitted and mapped with the Auto box and the gear change is superb no issues at all, the gear changes do seem to happen more often than with a standard ECU, the problem I did have was that the standard Auto box started slipping at 400BHP and we had to back off, I am now going Manual with Turbofit fitting a 6 speed box
  8. I had a defi gauge positioned in the wrong place and the reading as a complete waste of time, it did look pretty though all lit up on in the dash but if you are going to spend that much on a gauge and fitting why not have it in the right place where it will tell you what your EGT are and if you have a problem, which is what it was designed for, mind has been changed now and does what it is supposed to, its worth the hassle
  9. Yep Nic has come through with a great price, just need a clutch now and the 6 speed conversion will begin
  10. Wanted a TRD or uprated LSD for a 6 speed, Traders??
  11. I brought a used 6 speed box and the kit to go with it, new clutch and used diff
  12. I guess the 'loads of other mods' comment may need expanding to give you a better understanding of what you can expect but in my experience dont go chasing BHP and go for drivablilty, 550BHP with high torque figures is a lot of street power, I have owned BIG horse power cars (skylines) and been unable to use the power as the delivery was too top end if that makes sence!
  13. I am running a HKS TO4R single with 650cc injectors no problem with fuel and should be good for 550BHP when the 6 speed goes in
  14. I think £3,000 is a good figure to have in mind with an uprated clutch
  15. I will be happy to post all the final costs when it is done
  16. I have purchased the following 6 speed box Prop shaft Clutch master and slave cylinder pedal box Gear change surround uprated clutch 6 speed rear diff clutch lines
  17. Well after buying an Auto single supra because my Skyline's clutch was getting on my nerves in London traffic I have now purchased everything to go 6 speed manual, Turbofit are going to do the work and re map my new AEM (again), decided to make the change when mapping the car last week and while on the dyno the auto box started slipping at 400bhp, Dan left the car at 1.0 bar so as to not damage the auto box, 6 speed should allow me to wind it up to 1.4 now I have the fuel sorted and see a much better figure, will keep you posted
  18. Just going Auto to Manual and need a 6 speed diff (standard or uprated?)
  19. HKS TO4R Single, AEM, 650 injectors and hunting for a 6 speed box!
  20. Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy, Microdrives!! Kids actually playing outside?
  21. this is the company that sells TAb in the UK along with many American favourites http://www.cybercandy.co.uk/ They are in covent garden
  22. Dasani or something, was a purified tap water and not spring water as labelled
  23. It is not sold in the UK anymore, it was the original 'diet coke'
  24. I have a box of TAB in my office now, this comes from a small shop in Covent Garden for one of our demanding clients, I had to join the soda club of america to get some
