Yup took the Sup for a change as its gone in to Turbofit for a week again !! Tesco's best customer me thinks, I seem to be there every day, perhaps because I cant get a full shop in the boot !!

This was real important to me when I moved from Auto to Manual with a six speed conversion, I took a lot of advice as I wanted a strong clutch with a good pedal feel and not too heavy, I was sold an RPS Street Strip in the end and I have been very happy with the results Gaz at Envy supplied the clutch BTW

Thats a disgrace and you should put your complaints in writing, I have stayed at all three and know how expensive they are and you would be very deserving of some form of compensation IMO

It is something I said I would not do again after my R32 GTR build last year !! I keep putting off the full built engine with all this other stuff though !

I brought the carbon dash kit from the same guy, the quality is great but I found a couple of bits were for a left hand drive and were sent by mistake Knight racer tells me it was a bit tricky to fit also as the parts dont all line up and if you have anything aftermarket on or in the dash you have to cut holes which is not easy (hot knife I was told) Good luck though

Good Luck Matt I hear you with the buying a fully sorted car !!, i am upto 12K now on a car I said I would not add any more mods to !!, it goes back to TF on Tuesday for 4 row intercooler, fluidyne rad, fluidyne fans, HKS sliding cam pulleys oh and a full NOS kit !! Then like you a ' final ' mapping session to 1.4 bar

Not sure where the diff came from now will have to check this out with TF, This may explain why I was finding it so difficult to break 14 seconds at the pod with my set up !

I am getting knowhere near 130 in 4th, Greg sold me the diff from his car he told me, I know at the time he was breaking one for a member on here, perhaps it was from that car, I am feeling more certain that I dont have a 6 speed diff now I would have thought Dan might have noticed when mapping though ??

Yes was thinking that was odd to and was wondering if the diff I got from Greg was not a 6 speed (it was in his old car I was told??)

I was talking with a few members at Turbofit BBQ about the pod runs and how I should have not needed to use 5th Gear at all, I was at red line with around 300m to go in forth and had to grab 5th, but my terminal speed was only 107mph I have a 6speed conversion and was wondering if anyone had the speed to revs ratio for the standard set up and am i missing something ??

Bodywork needs a tidy, you could drive on current boost (0.4 bar) with 400bhp and have little trouble, to increase power you need fueling, ECU or fuel controller I would think about brakes as well and of course the heater matrix needs doing Still a very cheap car though and a sound project IMO

To be fair I spend alot of time in traffic with no air flow through cooler !! Just about to upgrade to fluidyne rad, 4 row intercooler for the same reason !

I have a bung in the sump and the defi sendor is located there, I see temps of 80-90c normal driving and 100c when pushed

Real sorry to read of your troubles, Not sure it helps but I had a problem with valve stem seals and noisy tappets and TF completed the work and the car runs so much better now, in fact the improvment in the running was so good it needed the mapping tweaked ! Hope you get it sorted
