  1. Cant help with the fitting sorry, but I would have thought that you would want something like this fitted by someone who knew exactly what they were doing, I am sure someone will come along and help in a minute Good luck
  2. I wonder if my name was mentioned at all during the mapping ? Nice start with those numbers mate, build looks fantastic, look forward to seeing the car in the flesh
  3. MMmm that makes me feel much better thanks Chris I wonder if it was an AEM issue then that may have caused my engine failure as the mapper said he did nothing out of the ordinary or unusual
  4. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=47563&highlight=air+bag+light Hi mate, a lot of these questions can be typed into the search feature at the top of the screen and it will bring up past threads on the subject
  5. Oh yes never noticed the title had changed, cant see any new members working that one out though so I guess we will be hit with a lot more ' simple ' questions
  6. try pressing the search button before you press the manual button Welcome by the way !
  7. This is bad news for me and I would imagine all those reading this who have splashed out on AEM in the last 12 months, I was sold this system as being ' the best ' while I was looking at E manage and Power FC, as always with my car I went with the advice and choose ' the best ', only to hear this I get more and more fed up with the whole modded car scene every day
  8. I run mine of AEM But have a Kenlowe thermostat that is almost brand new if you want to make me an offer, cost £60 a few weeks ago The kenlowe gives you control to turn the temp up in winter and down in summer, simple technology but effective
  9. Stick it where mine is (in the glove box) I am waiting for the brackets officer
  10. Cheers Could be a plan as I have one also, will let this run until tonight and then make up my mind
  11. Cheers for this offer very generous I do need to clear the AP's so 16's will be no good but thanks for the offers, I need the car to be able to roll on and off a trailor while I sort out the new alloy situation
  12. Thats funny I know someone who just brought that 10 second cars engine
  13. I need a set of 4 alloys with tyres in any condition just to allow me to get my Blitz wheels off the car in one go, there is no engine in the car so it will not matter if the tyres are not legal as it is not going anywhere other than my drive The alloys must go over my AP 6 pots up front Cash waiting, will pick up if local
  14. No he has not made any contact, He did tell me he wanted to see the injectors when he had the chance
  15. If he does own this car it sounds like he should have asked for advice BEFORE he brought it as it is turning out to be a real Pup
  16. He uses the Marlin Motorsport RR in Bletchley, near Milton Keynes, I think he has set himself up there now with a small area of the garage as his, cant remember what he trades under?
  17. I owned a brand new WRX STI for 18months in 2002-2003, A very nice car which never missed a beat, not the same thrills as a single Supra but was great having that Subaru warrenty
  18. Is Jonty around this area ?, his car has been on and off the road with clutch issues I think
  19. I spent quite some time talking to them last autumn, they were very new then, My family live in Solihull so I thought I could visit them and get the work on the Supra done, They were very helpful and friendly and have a fantastic set up, with a very special looking Rolling road, Turbofit at the time were getting so much more good press from many members so I went with them instead
  20. I have this in my arm rest, one for NOS, one for boost, one for anti lag and the last for race fuel all linked to the AEM, I brought it from Demon Tweeks
  21. Car is not moving anywhere if you still want it
  22. As he said in his reply to the thread he blames the engine and perhaps fueling, he has told me himself that he is not responsible for the damage, 'these things just happen sometimes' Honestly I dont see him coming forward and doing anything about this, and I did not expect that anyway, I just wanted to highlight the dangers of mapping and ensuring you get the car mapped exactly they way you want it and get advice on what the limitations are and should be, although a mapper should be giving you that advise IMO
