  2. it is a good profit for sticking together 2 bathroom extraction fans though
  3. I had a chance to go some years ago with the company I was working with, BUT if I left the company and had not recieved a green card at that point (can take years !) you would have to come home, that really put me off, I did do plenty of work on a temp basis there though and really enjoyed it

  6. I think we should go anyway to show our level of support ?, of course I will have to take the SAAB as my Supra has no engine
  7. HERE HERE !! I got exactly the same, but after they went to the wall I have calmed down and just got on with getting the car sorted after they both blamed each other for the failure and if it turns out they are working together then action will need to be taken and I will be looking for some answers

  10. I standard trim this has to be one of the best auto boxes ever made, it can handle the power including BPU at a later stage if you wish, I found the limit when pushed to 500BHP and then I decided to have a 6 speed conversion otherwise I would still be Auto for sure, a great box with several options with over drive, manaul mode and sedate town driving on straight auto mode, when you floor it the kick down is quick and from then on the power is smooth and well delivered with excellent pick up, very little change in the delivery of acceleration through the gears, ask some of the single 6 speed members (me included) how well the auto's did at Santa pod this year, they were very quick as I found it hard to get the power down when I was in control of the clutch along with an over eager right foot !!
  11. 2 hours to drive 14 miles from Purfleet to Canary Wharf !
  12. Would make some Supra with one of those in supercharged
  13. http://www.britishamericanengines.co.uk/ls_engines/ls1.asp Just drop one in
  14. Fair enough mate, good luck with it You could always drop a big V8 in it, they are NA
  15. Danger is you could spend as much as getting that TT you wanted and at the end of the day you will still own an NA which as good as they are will not have increased in value that much no matter what you do to the engine IMO;)
  16. I would strip out as much as you can from the car as I think big gains in engine power are going to be hard to come by, unless of course you add a turbo but I guess you had wanted to keep it NA? Perhaps add NOS ?
  17. 2.2 bar on a standard engine with a turbo this size and it will be a case of when it goes bang not if IMO, why would you want to fit a big turbo just for show? Maybe you should drive a laggy car to feel how frustrating this car be, I have owned a T88 car and the turbo lag drove me crazy, not worth the hassle for show looks unless you plan to drag race the car
  18. Great wheels at a good price, I have added a pic of them on my car, it may help people get a better idea of what they would look like on theirs
  19. In my case the auto box was fine when driving around town, smooth changes and good feel, but up at 1.2 bar + when the car reached 400 bhp the box started to slip, beyond that and it was all slip and no further gains, thats why i decided to go 6 speed before the thing gave up completly, I did look at BL and TH400 but went down the manual route instead as this has proven 500BHP + as standard, after seeing the BL auto box at the pod this year I think that is a very good option if you really need or want an auto IMO
  20. Just noticed you are on an Auto box as well, this can only handle 500 bhp or so and in the case of mine started slipping after constant 500bhp use, I went 6 speed after that, but again you should consider the health of your auto box and ensure it can take the power increase
  21. I would not go past 1.4 bar max and run at 1.2 for daily use, whoever is going to do the install should advise you to the health of your engine as well as it is no good adding a single to a tired engine and expecting it to last, I would fit 650 injectors and also look at ECU or fuel controls as well, it is a job that has a habit of costing way above what you would expect and if done on the cheap can be more costly in the long run Who is going to do the install ??
  22. All good I hope ! I am glad its all coming together now Must have my kit cars mixed up, not the first time !
  23. I am really pleased you are getting there now Jon, nice one
  24. http://www.paralleldesigns.co.uk/indexframe.html In the cars for sale section The 4th one down is the same car I think, reg 'Diablo', sold for £35,000
