I have taken the trouble to read the threads concerned and I am a little confused, some my say that is not unusual but ! The forum never really had any issues with JDP before they took on all the TF team, the forum then has several members (some of whom are well out of pocket from poor workmanship by these employees) telling other members to stay away as the workmanship is in question, the guy (Les?)comes on here and tells us that he is inspecting all work and it will all be ok, I now read he has sacked the TF guys, so we were right to point out his workforce had an issue, no? I would be delighted to see another good tuner or two on this forum and have no beef with JDP's owner but it had to be one of the worst decisions I have every witnessed taking on that team after what had gone on and the amount of outstanding issues with members here, I think it all could have been handled with a bit more thought, still what do I know All the above is my personnal opinion and not that of the MKIV owners club

I went to them with my spilt rim Blitz Techno speeds and they said no to them, they wont do any wheel that they have to take apart, they dont like doing chrome either !

In my pond I had no filter and the only thing really was it went quite green in the summer as it was in direct sunlight, I added a filter that used the fountain pump and it kept the water much clearer, the depth of the water also helps I am told since, mine was not deep enough

As far as I know you can not re map the standard ECU, I would ask him what your £60 gets you exactly Edit ! Way too late !

Looking at the 1/4 mile top 25 (which is out of date now) there are no cars running 11's that dont have either big twins or singles as far as I can see ? BPU running 11's must be wrong

Late 11's on BPU is that right, I dont remember anyone running BPU getting this time in April ?? I remember Private Pile getting into the 11's with his GT4088 set up but no BPU's Well done Mark BTW, it was good to see you running and getting your times down

I would say about £1000-£1250 for a newly built second hand engine, they are around £750 for stock from a scrapper

I would insist on dust sheets first, might have a lack of passion but my re trim was so expensive

Traction control on/off switch was one and I think the other was heated seats ?

One of the things I did find with TDI was that they insisted on using HKS for everything and this was almost non-negociable, it makes a big difference with the final bill as well ! I am glad you caught it in time

I think it is a light sensor for the Climate control and the other an air temp sensor ? Waits to be corrected
