  1. You could have a guest apperance from an Emmerdale extra, would love to make it but the TOM TOM goes blank after Birmingham
  2. I have a 2JZ engine for sale and it comes with HKS 264 Cams and ARP rod bolts and main end caps
  3. It is full HPI clear and has shown to be with the current owner for 7 years so is just a high miles bargin which needs a heater matrix which I have had done before so know what to expect
  4. 'puts drink down and looks real excited ', Jon the ball is in your court
  5. I am single but not single , but can I come clubbing too , non Supra meet coming on perhaps
  6. could get this put back together as a complete engine if the price is right
  7. It looks like another Drag/street spec Supra to me with odd colours and a real laggy turbo, plenty of those in Japan, VERY low miles as well ?
  8. There was a guy in Banzi with a retro celica or something with this 'streched tyre' look a few months ago, not my cuppa
  9. I had planned to do a smart rebuild thread but I just dont have the time to keep getting to the garage to take pictures
  10. I take it Mark told you he was too busy He is flat out at the moment, hope it is worth the wait I have been broken since July !
  11. Nice one mate, glad it is all coming together, who is fitting it for you ??
  12. What he was talking about was that the bottom end of the built engine would be able to handle 750-800 BHP with the weak points (rods, rod bolts and head bolts) replaced but with keeping the stock pistons you are working with a trusted tolerence level, put this along with the fact that my T04R makes 600 BHP at 1.5bar not 800 BHP I should have a block that is not over stressed by the set up, this does not have any influence on the mapping, fuelling etc which all need to be working correctly in conjunction with the above Oh am I know all about things going wrong
  13. Maybe he felt inadequate without the twin turbos and he was trying to impress you and got found out shallow git I have a big single by the way
  14. 'Darling' when she is working
  15. Hi and welcome Ever done any 'mapping' before
  16. Hi My car runs 600 bhp plus NOS and Mark was a little wary of how long it would last, I wanted the best and a new engine is the only starting point, if you want to ask Mark any questions I have nothing to hide and I saw the engine today it has some nice bits and with the HKS Cam and re worked head a good deal
  17. Sorry Nic need it asap and just managed to get a new bottom end from Steve Manley delivered Friday
  18. Is Steve Manley the cheapest for a new bottom end, water pump, oil pump and gasket set ??
  19. Just spent some time with Mark at Phoenix and after some consideration I have decided to have a brand new bottom end rebuild and use the fully built head from Dudes car, Mark feels this along with the addition of ARP rod bolts, Falcon Rods and ARP head bolts should give me a reliable 750-800bhp base (only looking to run 600bhp), so I have put the bottom end from Dudes car and my re-worked head from my car up for sale with some HKS 264 Ex and 256 In cams and HKS pulleys I am sticking with the 272 HKS Cams and Pulleys, all finished by Xmas I hope
  20. Ok I have just come back from Phoenix and have decided with Mark to change direction on my build and go for a new bottom end and have uprated Falcon rods and ARP bolts fitted to ensure I dont have to re-build again anytime soon, with this in mind I have for sale the engine I had purchased for the rebuild This engine is from Dude's car and is a well trusted engine, I am keeping the head from this car but have a head from my car to go with this, it may need a skim but has just had all the valves, seals and shims done, the spec is as follows as the engine is open and confirmed with the following ARP Rod bolts Uprated end caps Bores in good condition with just a few little marks, Mark has told me all is ok still for a light modified car Head has only 1000 miles since new valve seals and shims, a couple of marks on the head from the bottom end failure of my old engine, may need a light skim, Mark would explain better HKS 264 Exhaust Cam, 256 Inlet Cam HKS Cam pulley's Mark has the engine at Phoenix and if you have any questions ican not answer he will of course do his best to answer them, this engine is in his way now so must go quickly so make me an offer
  21. You have found a six speed box with a turbo engine and all the bits for £500 ??
