  1. Hi and welcome to the club You will see some very nice TT's in the forsale section at the moment and it is a great time to buy, good luck
  2. Some pics, they are not the best as it is pitch black outside but you will get the idea!
  3. They will no doubt need several to be able to do all the stunts, the mustang will be cheap to copy and replace if destroyed
  4. I have one as new with 2 controllers, nunchuck, etc, UK spec machine with box and with Wii sports, Tiger Woods 2008 and Simpsons games £220 pick up from Purfleet Essex if that helps My daughter just did not like it
  5. I can post some up later if needed, there is a half pic of it in my garage next to the Supra !

I am really enjoying the drive of the stock TT6 I just purchased, only had singles before and the stock car is very smooth, quiet and the power as ALWAYS on tap, the single is a very different story, a lot more respect is needed especially in these weather conditions,I think once you have experienced the added push a turbo or turbos gives it would be hard to go to an NA, so the trick is dont drive a turbo car it will make you want one, I will be keeping the single for dry weekends going forward (Roll on Suprapod 08)
  7. There is a shop in Canary Wharf called the Square Pie factory, they always seem to have a good selection and are always busy, they have branches around London, I have not tried them myself, have enough trouble getting the suit on as it is
  8. Will go to the dreaded ebay later today, would be willing to swop the car for something (Alloys, Body kit, Seats something else??)
  9. I dont know enough about the problem to make a specific suggestion or reason for the issues you are having BUT, I would get the car checked by a reputable garage as soon as you can and not drive it in the meantime on any kind of boost, I just hope you have not damaged the engine
  10. Steve Manley can get you one within a week at a very good price, may not be the cheapest option to go with a new engine but is the most reliable, and the resale value would be far greater than selling a car with a second hand engine
  11. Oh yes I remember this guy now, it was a GT cars car was it not, or did that have a red engine bay ?
  12. Of course most on here are bias to there car and Supra's in general, thats a given, but these cars are getting no younger and are becoming very hard to find with low miles, when you look at a F reg Toyota MK III now it looks very old and dated and commands no money anymore, this will be the same with the MKIV outside the enthusiasts market sooner rather than later, so 6K for an NA is WAY overpriced in the current climate I feel, christ I just picked up an okay condition TT6 manual for £3750 and with a grand of work it will be a very nice daily driver, I do however think the exceptional singles will continue to demand a high selling price going forward as most of them have had £1000's thrown at them and are as new in some cases:innocent: Waits to get flamed
  13. You asked for 1.2 bar and it went to 1.7 bar, where have I heard that before I would have thought the mapper would have stopped mapping the car and found the fault before continuing I lost my standard bottom end at 1.7bar
  14. :D I knew this had to be replaced when I looked over the car on pick up, I am looking for stock really as this car is a project to keep it stock all the way, I should have mentioned that
  15. My new TT's SMIC is as good as scrap and I am on the lookout for a new or as new (just changed to FMIC anyone) one to replace it??
  16. I spoke with Direct Line a few days ago to add another TT to my policy/ create a second car policy and the agent said I have never been insured with them, it took about 15mins for them to find my policy, not good when you pay over a grand a year to have to listen to that Hope you get it sorted
  17. Razza has been looking for a complete TT engine and Turbos might be worth a PM to him
  18. I remember reading on here I think that Tesco 99 was one of the best, I paid £1.14 for super unleaded yesterday in Brentwood, its a joke really, at that price it should all be bloody fantastic
  19. Taking the Yellow cover away it looks quite neglected in there, what engine ECU is controlling the set up, do you know what boost it was running, have you seen the engine run? I would insist on a leakdown test at minimum to ensure all is well, I would be looking at a good service history as well You have had enough bad luck with engines to go and buy another duff one
  20. Ok will be on here tomorrow, if you get a good quote let me know I paid £400 full comp with 1year NCB as a second car if that helps, I am 36 with FNCB, parked on street in Purfleet Essex
  21. Did you use a hose pipe or the pressure washer on low power under the bonnet, if so you may have an issue as it is a big no no, you may have water sitting in the spark plug area, if you know what you are doing take it apart and dry everything off, if you dont take it to a garage and get them to sort it Someone may respond with exactly what else to check, coil pack etc
