  1. I would say you are around the 400 mark now on BPU and you say you want a small single and 450bhp, that would be a very quick spooling single and a fun drive but a lot of expence, I also managed to destroy my Auto box with the 500+ BHP, you should be fine with 450 if you look after the box with a cooler and oil changes etc The T78 ran 580BHP as did the T04R, the auto box was ok with both drive wise but as I said I destroyed one then went 6 speed, the T78 was VERY laggy though
  2. IMO the answer is very simple, replace the stock turbos and if you want a bit more power go BPU, the best of both worlds with power and reliability Forget singles on a budget its pointless
  3. I owned a UK spec T78 Auto single and a Jspec T04R Auto single, what would you want to know
  4. Just purchased these to go on to the car when its ready in a week or so, wanted to move away from 19" wheels
  5. And so it begins This thread should be a sticky for all those that waste money modding an NA, once you start on the quest for more power it is very addictive and only the TT lump (even in an NA-TT) will give you the options to achieve more
  6. A certain TF fitted a high ratio diff by mistake when I had my six speed conversion done (its changed now) this gave the car huge acceleration but at the pod day I was grabbing 5th gear with 300 yards to go and knew something was wrong, however the accleration off the line was very good and I would imagine the 5 speed box would have a similar effect as the second and third gear would be much longer ?
  7. I can here her saying the exact same thing to him as he fills out the transfer form Knew a womans view would put it all into perspective
  8. Will be a whole lot cheaper than a 6 speed conversion and with 'lower' power levels should be ok I would have thought if well maintained, I have never driven the Supra 5 speed but I have always felt the 6 speed while very strong was always a gear to many and was really a fashion statement as much as anything else, When I think of the 5 speed in my R32 GTR the length of time in one gear is much longer and allows crummy drives like me a chance to get some power down
  9. I would have a few tickets to, you might be on to a winner with a raffle, £500 to a pod day as well for the club
  10. I think you may mean Dee Ireland http://www.titanmotorsports.com/deeireland.html
  11. Is that Veilside though?? it seems to have some kind of Ferrari 355 rear engine/window conversion I dont like it, but hey its not mine so who cares
  12. So what happened to the ebay sale you made, did you just pull out, If so I hate that kind of thing, whats the point of putting no reserve, someone wins and gets a genuine bargin only to have you say no, its too cheap
  13. Yep the guy next door almost called an ambulance !! I got a few laughs on here to but the car was sitting under a tree and it was summer and it had no engine so it needed protection as I have no garage and the birds were using it as a toilet
  14. Halfords cover, not a bad fit but not great either thats why it rubbed I think, you need the size large
  15. Wrap it in cling film I did, then put a cover on, the bloody wind was making the cover rub the paint
  16. Its ok, very box-like but will go forever if looked after, I am not sure I would have given up a 6K Skyline for it though The skyline I had was far more practical than the Supra, nice 4 seater with a good boot, but each to there own
  17. Best of luck, I need a drink every time I get in the car with the GF so pub pick ups sound like a good idea
  18. They were very happy with it, it was our wedding gift to them http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/1/717142896.jpg
  19. No, I have been a chef for almost 20 years but never a pastry chef, but friends and family always expect me to be able to 'magic' something up
  20. Very sad to see this leave the country if it goes abroad, has to be one of the best and most admired Supras in the UK, I know you have had a love hate relationship with the car but it seems like you have it running perfect now, sad time to sell, good time to buy You will never not be noticed if you own this car
  21. Me and the missus at a friends wedding at xmas, Oh and the cake I made for them as a 'favour!!' And yes it does look like I ate it all but I assure you it is just water retention http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/1/716340521.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/1/716340558.jpg
  22. Whats holding that HUGE battery in place?? I cant see anything
