  1. The supra would be an investment, that's what I have told myself anyway
  2. Would consider an auto supra cash either way
  3. I have moved to London Monday to Friday for work so this is no longer required as it is just not getting used JM Imports car purchased spring this year 2005 car with gleaming black paint and gold wheels Auto 5 speed 107k in km Fresh mot New premium tyres CD player HKS exhaust Rally art clocks Rally art carbon lip Tints on rear windows Recaro seats Great practical sports car with bags of grip and about 280 bhp turbo engine, an EVO with a big boot !! Car located in Birmingham Few age related marks but in excellent condition for year £11,000
  4. I would be very interested if you do decide to sell
  5. I will come along to this, no idea what I will be driving as I seem to change cars every 4 weeks can I book a car and confirm later, Ibis sounds great perhaps the best bit !
  6. There are lots of interesting forum discussions on this topic, as a chef I do think the authentic wood fired 90 seconds to cook at 800oF pizza with charred blistering and smoky flavour to be one of the best tastes and textures every, however achieving this in a home scenario with wood alone is not quite that straight forward. It is also worth noting that the oven is only part of the deal, you need a great dough, sauce and toppings Getting a home unit to this temperature is challenging and can take 1-2 hours with wood alone, adding a gas jet will speed up the process and you can still add wood for smoke and taste. Clay or brick ovens done like getting wet in rain and also benefit from very regular use, they also dislike frost and extreme cold If none of this puts you off then you will be very popular at BBQ's at home and we used our wood fired oven (commercial) for cooking many other foods along with pizza
  7. Having owned and therefore been a member of several "classic" single variety car forums I have watched a few die a slow death with very very little activity, I stopped using many of them other than for historic tech info, I have not felt the same way about this forum however, it is always responsive, has some really interesting and engaging members, has always been well run and organised and it is at times hilarious, yes it is much less active than it was but still a good forum and even as a none MKIV owner I will stay around for as long as the club exists
  8. Never had this issue with any of the singles I have owned, are you 100% sure you don't have a leak/weep in the system? I had a TVR that had a leak that clung to the tank and was a very strong fuel smell that alerted me to the issue
  9. If I remember correctly did the car not have an issue during the UK build, cant remember what exactly but I remember the build thread stalling for ages ?
  10. Turbo will always give a smile, I have owned a couple of Supras and enjoy the turbo power delivery, I have an Evo 9 Wagon at the moment and get the same turbo buzz with a bit of practicality but its not quite the same
  11. Dont let this negativity including mine be a reason to leave the questioning, in fact it is why I stayed around. A BPU Supra will be about 400 BHP given the spec of your conversion, it is still possible to get 440 BHP if you push the envelope a bit and how you drive it will give a good 0-60 but there are a lot of factors on how to improve this time. Owning an M3 already I would say you would be surprised on the power delivery (turbo V NA) but overall speed/power is not going to be significantly different

    Which one

I have a history of doing this, maybe I need help lol However I have done it so may times, can we meet up at the Swan Centre to pick up the award please ....... At that price I might actually go and see it, however he also has a "Mint" RS6 and a Hummer so could bag a trio
  13. Owned one and in BPU set up they are possibly the best Supra set up for day to day use and reliability - - - Updated - - - Sub 5 seconds... ignore my advice I am out

    Which one

The AMG 55 engine is a great power unit, I had the E55 AMG and loved the car, such fun to drive, mine had done a fair few miles and when it needed some work (O2 sensors) they were very expensive but if you are going to drive an AMG this is part of the deal but given the spend on your RR you know this lol I have since owned S500, SL 500 and I have never been disappointed with the amount of car you get for the money, I actually think the big engine Mercs offer the best bang for buck in so many ways There is a CL600 for sale at a dealer in Yardley, only 60K miles and all this car for £4K, very tempting
  15. Thanks, will give it a go this weekend, if the rain stops !
  16. I attended a chefs V waiters night in London, it was a fantastic night and great fun, you could see those who had trained hard and those who just turned up, as mentioned the biggest fail on the night was blowing yourself out in 30 seconds and then getting picked off while you catch your breath Hope you enjoy it
  17. Hi Peter, He did contact me, he only works on boats out the water and I cant do that easily as the marina is currently fully booked for boat removals
  18. No interest in doing this or impractical for those who were I am going to have a crack at doing some of it myself next weekend, I will have some product questions, first one being what is the best cleaner for marine vinyl seating as the boats are grubby Good news is the canopy is brand new and needs nothing, I will need to buff the boat itself though which I will have to do in stages !!
  19. TDI in Thurrock where mapping these, Sam is the mapper
  20. Yet its already gone up to £4,600, some brave people out there
