  1. Yes the size is ok as the gauge holder is 52mm and can be cut to take 60mm go on how much are they new ?
  2. I have had to install a double gauge pillar pod to allow fitment of the Aquamist flow meter and have a hole left for a guage, I have all the defi gauges mounted already and the only useful gauge I can fit to match would be the Defi volt meter http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/Defi-Racer-Gauge-Volt-Meter-50956 Anyone got one for sale ?
  3. Many happy returns of the day
  4. I buy the whole belly and poach it for 4 hours in vegetable stock flavoured with soy sauce, ginger, garlic and plenty of chinese five spice, this is cooked in a pot in the oven with a lid at 160oC Let it cool then chill, cut into big cubes and grill on the BBQ until golden and crispy, brush with hoi sin and honey, it is melt in the mouth tender and always goes a long way for very little money
  5. What make is it ?? The underside of your car has seen the UK salted roads for a few years by the looks of it
  6. cheers, we shall see, I have priced to sell, but there is a lot to choose from at the moment, hence the full service with Phoenix to sweeten it up a bit

  8. I did this one a few months ago, great fun and you got to drive the cars to the full http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=148242&highlight=track+day
  9. Only one I can find and it was a long time ago at 2 bar http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=29342&highlight=snapped+rod+bolt
  10. When I was going through the rebuild thought process Jamie I asked a lot of questions and if I had gone small single I would have stayed with a new short block with stock internals (as Lui did) I went for the bigger power option and was advised that the weakest link in the Supra bottom end is the rods and rod bolts, I went Brian Crower in the end with ARP bolts, they are a lot lighter than stock giving the engine a much improved rev response The head is a different matter of course
  11. It looks very flat, may cut back but I doubt it will be perfect, I would have never accepted it in the first place and not brought it away from the body shop until it was right if I was unhappy with it, I take it you have not paid for it hence the reason you cant get it done again with them ?
  12. I have a Strut brace and a pair of polished door runners for sale off my car Brace £25 Runners £25 would like collection from Purfleet Essex but can post at extra cost The strut brace has adjustable tension and does fit an NA, it has been covered with a carbon effect 'sticker' but underneath is stainless/polished http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18612281363.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18612281388.jpg In place in my old engine bay http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18612305056.jpg Door runners are from Miami GT and just stick in place with a bonding glue or tape, they fit over the existing plastic runner, these are in good condition and will polish up a treat http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18612281467.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18612281470.jpg
  13. Well the GF did not manage to pass her driving test this time round and has gone off the idea of owning a Supra for a first car so this very nice NA Auto Supra I brought a few months ago has to go, I just picked it up today from Phoenix where it has just been serviced and Mark tells me all is well with the car as I thought, it has just also had a full MOT and 5 months tax so is good to go for the summer, a few points on the car Silver NA Auto in very nice condition Imported on 12/5/06 with sales docs and full details Just serviced today at Phoenix in Watford TSW 18" alloys with a few marks and one ding on the rear wheel Induction kit fitted but stock air duct left in place CD player fitted Stainless exhaust system, good sound without being too loud 70,000 miles (showing 103,000 but most was in KM's) Cambelt done 12,000 miles ago I have all Jap imports docs 12 months MOT, 5 months tax Mint boot carpet and tools Very nice clean interior Auto box smooth, engine runs sweet Air con is not as cold as it shoud be, heater is fine This is the best bit, I paid very little for the car and have spent a few hundred quid getting it right and serviced, I just want my money back on this one so it can go for £2300 I would consider a part ex with a small Auto (206, saxo, clio etc) Based in Purfleet Essex http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18611541873.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18611541892.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18611541874.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18611541877.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18611541891.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18611541731.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18611541789.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/18611541761.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/12511324715.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/12511100785.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/12511100745.jpg
  14. It just wants to go, it is very tempting to go faster but after a years wait a few more days wont matter
  15. But going BPU is adding non OEM parts and running non OEM boost, plus 450 BHP is running a lot of non OEM boost on stock turbos, a well set up 500 BHP single will be more or equally reliable as a '450bhp!' BPU car in the long run IMO of course
  16. Yep too many different schools of thought on this subject and all of them have good and bad points, I am just doing as I am told I have been talking to a few on the subject on the lead up to the car being ready and Mark has finished cars that have been run in very very hard indeed, in fact racing the next day, it is as mentioned a very interesting topic I do know that an oil change was done after the few hours run in in the garage and we will change again tomorrow for Silkoline Pro R 15W-50W
  17. The first few hours was tick over only without moving, then the car was driven at very low RPM for 100 miles, then I got it back and it was taken upto 3K max
  18. If you're in the confirmed category then thanks very much for following through guys and putting your money where your mouth is I was very much looking forward to this event, and have put a considerable amount of 'money where my mouth is' but I have been at the mercy of the engine builder and it is just not ready, nothing to do with me not following through
  19. I was quoting Mark at Pheonix to be honest, he always likes to start a Supra build with a new block and also likes to keep stock pistons where possible, but your point is taken, dont have enough info on the subject to strongly disagree , he does have several very successful builds on the road now with this principle however so cant be all bad, he also has just had me go through a very strict run in process
  20. Sounds like its going to be some car, look forward to the power graphs for that turbo
