  2. http://www.carsalvagefinder.co.uk/vehicle_VIC.php One of these places will help you with a VIC document, it is a lot more detailed that an MOT, at your cars price tag it may be worth selling off in parts, you will get more in the long run rather that paying to get it back on the road IMO

  4. I posted a few pictures of my Camaro on the Gen3 owners club in the US and got slated for the state of the engine bay, one guy asked me if it had been vadalized
  5. I dont really like it, it just cracks me up how many people post up a picture of their car and say, "look at this what do you think "then get all defensive and aggressive when it is not liked oh and 550 WHP, with more to come, that does not look like a turbo that can flow that much power ??
  6. Just take documents to Post office and pay the road tax as normal to put back on the road, or better still do it on line, you will need to reg doc in your name to do the on line tax
  7. If I had a 98 NA I would bite your hand of for that deal
  8. Shop around, I just sold my very nice NA Auto with a full MOT, and Tax AND a service from Phoenix with low miles and a nice set of wheels for £2250, they are peanuts at the moment
  9. Wow I like them, just what the car needs for the Supra pod, with mapping just around the corner I will have to wait, cant see them hanging around though
  10. I would not fit the 1.3bar cap, but thats another issue, it could be the thermostat that is not working, I have had this same issue, dont run the car anymore and get it changed then try again
  11. I may pop along tomorrow, not been to this one before
  12. I dont touch my car other than driving it, it would be such a shame to ruin it The CF dash was fitted for me and the labour rate to get it fitted was twice the cost of the dash, it just looks tacky I think now, tried to love it but given up
  13. If you have any mods to the dash from stock then cutting is required which is not easy, then most of the ebay kits are not a perfect fit and will required a bt of trimming, I have one, wish I had not bothered, will be coming off and replaced with Alcantara in the coming weeks
  14. Great to see this running again, I have just completed my run in and have the 22nd July at Surrey RR for the mapping
  15. Take it to a garage if you dont know what you are doing, you have been told it will take 30 mins to fit so factor in 30mins labour cost, about £20-30 at a local garage at most, then you know its been done properly
  16. IF I owned a 360 or 430 I would not care a jot if a 15 year old Toyota took me on and beat me, so what, I am the one sitting in a 50K+ sports car that has the best sounding engine in the world and came with all that power as standard, let the boy racer go I say
  17. 0% for me I am rubbish at saving, I must spend 20% of my wages on the Supras each month however
  18. Tuna has no fat in it so will not cause any flames at all, in fact fish cooks very well on the BBQ, flames from fish will be caused by too much oil in a marinade etc Fatty foods such as Lamb koftas will flame to a degree but it is all about getting the coals to the right temp and ensuring they are white with ash before you start cooking, remove the food and let some of the fat drain out and return to the BBQ if it gets a bit to much flame
  19. Oh I stand corrected, I though Col had chromed mine, I know the inlet was chromed, well there you go
  20. I would get it chromed or you wil be forever polishing it, however I am just understanding now that a blinged engine bay does you no good with under bonnet air temps, worth thinking about
  21. Welcome back, its a shame Mark is leaving, mine has been there for almost a year, it is back with him for a couple of days for final checks before mapping then he shuts his doors for good, I have been giving a lot of thought to where to go next with this car
