  1. I agree its old and not very fast but I was thinking more along the lines of a long term investment that I could actually store, then drive it on sunny days from time to time ?
  2. As above really, anyone owned one, pros and cons http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ferrari-308-GTS-QV-V-LOW-MILEAGE-LHD_W0QQitemZ280249710713QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item280249710713&_trkparms=72%3A985%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l1318
  3. 600 RWHP and a 15 year old stock IC do not go together at all, I think IMI had some issues when mapping with a SMIC on his single, he has fitted a FMIC now
  4. 2 year old clutch running 500+ rwhp, I am not sure who would buy that with long term usage in mind ?
  5. I agree 100%, it is a very special market for the higher end now, most of which are on here or watching from abroad
  6. Mark never wrapped mine, had some issues with cracking on a wrapped manifold perhaps ??
  7. something tells me you wont have to wait as long as me to get this up to full boost looking great, that twin turbo set up looked almost as new !
  8. who needs a polished lip http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/19407380328.jpg
  9. I have rented a room, but always to someone I know already, the cash comes in very handy when running a Supra ! too many wierd people out there to trust with your house unless they have a good reference from a trustworthy source though IMO
  10. 50% of the current market value for a CAT C, you may find someone who is willing to part with a bit more GAZ1 just sold a UK Spec stock TT Auto with low miles etc for less than 5K, that kind of sums up the Supra market at the moment, not to say your car would not make a good buy for £2-£2.5K
  11. A cheap Cat C/D TT Auto for me would be sub 3K, but good luck with the sale
  12. Salted butter is made in a slightly different way and contains more 'whey', it produces a lot more liquid content when heated and is not so good for cooking (great for speading), chopping the garlic with a little salt which acts as an abrasive agent as well as drawing out the flavour enhances the taste, so you are the second fail today on this thread ;)
  13. this does give a very subtle finish, this method I slice the bread, drizzle with oilve oil (scented with herbs), bake until crisp in the oven then rub with a cut garlic clove and 1/2 a tomato also rubbed on the bread to add a little moisture
  14. Not true at all, I have seen a couple of RR days with autos taken care of with no problems at all, including my Supra and Camaro
  15. Sounded like a longer gear change and therefore a loss of boost and a bit of lag before it came on song again, but boy does it come on strong when on boost, very quick indeed
  16. I brought the Silver NA for my GF who is learning to drive, could not get insurance, then I purchsed a 1.3l Fiesta and the insurance for that is more than the car is worth so she will have to pass first then insure
  17. It is very nice if you add a sprinkle of grated fresh parmesan cheese and a drizzle of white truffle oil also for that VERY SPECIAL garlic bread
  18. I would take a fresh baguette or ciabatta to start with, then I would chop several cloves of garlic very fine with some salt, add fresh chopped parsley, black pepper and a little lemon zest, then mix with softened unsalted butter, cut the bread almost all the way through from top to bottom all the way along the length, 1 inch or so apart, stuff with the garlic butter and close the gap up again Bake in a hot oven until golden, very nice You could make a very thin pizza base with bread dough bake this in a hot oven, just before it is ready brush with plenty of good olive oil and chopped garlic mixed with chopped fresh oregano and back in the oven until golden, very nice
  19. the other way round maybe http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=275575 still cant stop it being driven by a BMW owner however http://video.aol.com/video-detail/bmw-m3-e30-2jz-supra-engine/3560577524
  20. with over 2500 active members that means we could all claim to have about £4 each
  21. It would be VERY expensive to make it all fit and work for the gain in power over a single turbo 2JZ if any ?
