    Matt I know you want this car finished almost as much as I do, its been June 2007 since this car has been at full boost, I would have given up on any other of my cars in the past but.......... she is my Eleanor

    It better not spin a shell ! It only went in for an electrical fault and so far I have had a new manifold, new wastegate and god knows how many goes on the dyno and each time the car develops a fault, I am sick of it, AFR have been very patient it has to be said but even Matt sounded a bit fed up of it today

    My HKS wastegate seems to be knackered and I need a new Tial 44mm for my boostlogic manifold, anyone got one that the can get to AFR tuning ASAP as I want the car ready for the POD The title should read urgent !

    If you never get on to #2 tubby you will not get the best out of a single mate trust me I have been 'victim' of chasing the pack in terms of power and single turbo's and its a very expensive game, full BPU is a fantasic power level with a good level of reliability, i would go for that and if you get fed up next year go small single, I would be happy to give you a blast in my car and see if a single is right for you

    I know you have had some issues of late with your car but going single is a big decision and an expensive one to do it right, I would get a stock set of Jspec's on there and get it running at full BPU and enjoy it, if you do go single there is loads of info on here already

    The big old singles are very laggy also, I had a T88 on my Skyline, this was a case of nothing...nothing...spooling noise.....loud spooling noise........oh my good god.........then change gear

    Cheapest way would be to source a KNOWN second hand engine and swop I went for a new Toyota bottom end as a base and that was around 2K delivered, then add on a new water and oil pump to be safe Labour really depends on the builder and if you do rebuild I would replace the rods and bolts for aftermarket parts if you plan on bigger power at some stage

    My brother in law has to work now so I have a spare ticket and seat in my car if anyone in the Lakeside services area needs a lift and wants to come along because their Sup is sick
