  1. Ask JamieP again !! Stock is the new cool, its whats under the skin that counts but there is no need to shout about it
  2. It would only be acceptable to me as a cool car if he had kept the stock van exterior but actually fitted a RS Cossie engine BTW I still want a Sierra Cosworth for nostalgia , one of my all time fav cars of the 80's and 90's
  3. Its a bit further but I have been very happy with my first visit to Whifbitz, very good service and a company that seems to pride itself in its work
  4. Had NA auto, TT6 stock, Single Auto, Single 6 speed and in London traffic they all look the same !! I am a big fan of stock looking Supras however no matter what the power plant
  5. Paul keeps them in stock, he just fitted Greddy and billet pulleys to mine
  6. I have some bits left over from the trip to Whifbitz Polished intake pipe with a polished BOV fitted, also has a small hole in the pipe for water injection nozzle but this could be blocked off or used for WI or NOS £75 +pp Set of 6 mixed Silicon pipes £5 +pp Stock Throttle control ECU £10 +pp Length of 4 gauge Battery cable in red with a plastic sheath just pp Braided line with nice quality connectors ! £10 + pp Set stock Pulleys all ready for polishing £20 +pp offers on all accepted
  7. Picked the car up this afternoon, 29 miles from Enfield to my house and it takes 2.5 hours, dam M25 Well I guess nothing tests a single cars set up more than being stuck in traffic for that long, it never missed a beat, too wet to use the 1.5 bar but a little squeeze now and then gave me a taste of the power the car has now Its pouring down outside so I will get some pictures up tomorrow finally the car is starting to give me some joy, look forward to a cold crisp day tomorrow with dry roads for a little test
  8. I remember seeing the Prodigy do a set at something like 3am at the Astoria in London in 1990, they were fantastic then and I still like them now, those were the days !
  9. Thats a bit unfair, that is a great car already, the manifold is custom and the turbo could be changed if you desire for less than 1K, but 600+ is not too shabby
  10. We have not hit the bottom of this yet, could see £1 for 1 Euro early next year
  11. Very nice spec and great looking car, looks like Whifbitz work Edit, Big Blues car at Whifbitz!!
  12. Poor set up, poor tyres maybe, or the dreaded diesel
  13. Sounds like an old Jap set up to me, they used to like the big T88 (which is a big laggy thing but gives huge power late in the rev range) they also used to add additional injectors to the intake instead of upgrading the existing ones, crude but effective in most cases, an engine bay shot would be nice but with an injector controller in your spec I would say you have this kind of set up
  14. I am sure Chris Wilson had a contact that he recommended, may be worth a call
  15. I love these Gaz and test drove one a while ago, great value for money but they are expensive to maintain, but coming from single supra ownership that is nothing new ! I would have one in a flash, I think this marquee oozes class
  16. Wow that opened a can of worms !! Just to make it clear, the car was already fully mapped by both Ryan (base map) and AFR to 1.2 bar but I ended up having a lot more stuff changed in the engine bay than planned at Whifbitz so the map was to tweak the car really and not a full mapping session, the boost was taken up but Paul called me and said he could do no more as it was to damp and too much of a risk, so fair play, Paul has it is worth mentioning managed to map AEM of some very high BHP cars including his own so I dont worry about the road mapping method, just the time of year is not right He did not really charge me either for the tweak in the map, the main reason I needed to map looking at was because it was a bit rich on start up and was having an idle issue which are all sorted now I am happy to take a tuners advise on the best mapping methods, i have had the car mapped too many times to remember !, some good most indifferent I would have liked Ryan to map the car but for me SRR is too restrictive if something does not go to plan, the facility has no garage so you are stuck making changes on the pavement outside, then you usually miss your slot with the RR or the mapper, if I pay for a car to be mapped really want to hand over the keys, come back a few hours later and all done, perfect world I know but it would be nice. A lot of this depends on the car being 100% before the mapper gets it, something I have had a tough time getting right Car is getting there now however and I will get some engine bay shots when I get it home at the weekend
  17. Sounds even better, I do hate watching it on the RR though SRR trip would be good for the " benchmark " number as it seems to be the most used on here anyhow
  18. Will get it on the Dyno on the back of one of Ryan's mapping sessions perhaps, when are you down at SRR Jamie, I could bring it along
  19. Some mapping took place today, not easy on the road with the current weather Paul thinks there is plenty more to come once the weather is better, but the car is up to 1.5bar now Going back in few weeks for UK rear brakes, 4 wheel alignment, perhaps some new seats and a set of R888's
  20. Funny how it never goes the other way and you get £150000
  21. Was the 5 speed really that weak, I know you have a single NA-T but after such a new rebuild should it really destroy the box so quickly, something seems strange, either you drove it harder or the fitment of the new parts was not right perhaps??
  22. I'm interesting You need to have chrome in the first place to be ble to clean it, or do you want to polish up stock engine parts, a very different thing altogether
  23. I need laptop as a gift for my GF, not wanting to spend a fortune as it is a last minute idea, anyone got a good spec one they want to sell
  24. Very nice, how much would that cost if you dont mind me asking
