  1. nothing, it would not have allowed you to select R at speed
  2. The Toyota Auto box and ECU is very clever and protects to box from such a daft gear change edit too late
  3. Is Paul going to get the single working properly as well, as it would be a shame to have the drivetrain and not have the power
  4. have not picked it up yet ! will post up pics as soon as I get it home
  5. Funny you should talk about Mods UK brakes, Geo set up, lightweight alloys, lightweight front seats, rest stripped out including boot etc, decat and thats my lot !
  6. Yes he was so helpful and did me a massive favour, great club spirit
  7. It has gone off to be fixed and sold, I have nothing to do with it anymore:)
  8. I have brought a new Supra already, could not face a 6-9 month wait to move to France with no Jap Car fun in between and after looking at a few R32's I have come back to a very cheap NA Manual, will be getting the most out of this one with as much track action as possible and look forward to keeping myself in with the club as an owner for a while, will post some pics etc whan I pick it up
  9. Both can arrange bodywork and fitment of kits if i remember rightly, give Matt (AFR) or Paul (Whifbitz) a call, they dont bite
  10. They both have a good website and will do anything from an oil change to full rebuild
  11. if you dont mind a posted price would be good, thanks
  12. Tis good to hear from you Joe, your wheels looked nice in the end , I just gave up in the end also Sad thing is I think I just brought another one !!
  13. is it pick up only ? I could pick up for less as its miles and miles away !!!!!!!
  14. Loved my Citrine yellow GT5 turbo back in the day, R19 wheels, loads of fun inbetween head gaskets
  15. choose your members ride with care, some poor singles out there, however pick a good one and you will be amazed at the power and the sheer fun of a good single, the noise is worth a mention as is the feel that not much on a straight road can touch it Also worth a mention that this comes at a cost and you will need to be commited to fixing things more often than with a stock car and the fuel bill gets interesting I never regret it really and it puts a big smile on your face when all is working as it should, pick your tuner with care also and talk to single owners about the best set ups and places to buy parts
  16. Dont get a Binatone Euro sat nav, I brought one from Tesco for £70 ish quid, very poor quality, slow to follow route and not very user friendly
  17. What are you going to do about rods and bolts in the engine, are you building the head? With the piggy back ECU does that control the Boostlogic Auto ?
  18. Here you go http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=134757&highlight=steve+manley+contact
  19. Steve Manley shipped my new block from Belgium to me in 3 days as he had none in stock in the UK, he is your man for a new block IMO, regardless of your EU location
  20. Not that I know anything about bikes but Decathlon had some very nice looking bikes in stock when I visited there at the weekend (buying more horseriding gear for my little one !), a lot of people seemed to be buying and the prices were within your budget in most cases
  21. The money you have spent on this car taking it backwards sounds like a mistake to me, I would do one of two things Sell it and move on, you have a car that seems to have been through some poor workshops in its time and the love seems to be lost from reading your posts, and I know from bitter experience that the car will never be the same once this happens Bit the bullet, get it to a good gargage to access the car fully and get it sorted, It seems to me that if you get the single working you have a good base car, I would fit a second hand 5 speed and run modest boost levels, it should be ok, I fear the fitment may have been the issue in your past experience, I have to add that getting it sorted at one of the better tuners will not be cheap so think abut the above option before you decide Can you tell us what is wrong with the car right now, apart from having no gearbox ?, i might have someone who would be interested
  22. Whifbitz or ToyotaGT IMO
  23. best price ? via PM if you want and I must get a discount for the wheels ??
