First of all many thanks to Ed (Bondinho) for picking me up from the station Secondly thanks again to Ed for a full description in the sales PM message which upon arrival gave no surprises at all, everything as described Took the train to London this morning then a further train to Bristol to look at this car, a good honest NA Manual and something to keep my craving for Supras at bay for a while, came with a full service history including from Japan and all kept in a tidy file, again one of the reasons I like to buy from an owners club The car as I got it home, did not miss a beat on the way back to London Nice history file Then I chicked a bucket of water over it and gave the headlights a quick first T Cut before the light faded, oh and added the all important MKIV stickers !

I purchased this about 4 years ago and is the first thing I am putting up for sale as I clear the house ready for the move later this year, I have several items from this artist who I actually became friends with and she ended up doing a wonderful portrait of my daughter It cost me 300 but would be happy to let it go for £200, it is amazing how you get such a striking image with this style of painting, i would need it picking up only from Purfleet, Essex

Sounds normal, especially if you have not used the car much, just condensation burning off, the exhaust will omit steam because its hot even when switched off for a little while On cold start the car idles higher and will get warm quite quickly, no issue When does it go off the Paul he will check it all over

I think you need to explain a little more on where it is getting hot? The fumes you talk of is that black smoke, blue smoke or white smoke? After 5mins it calms down, what do you mean

I have seen many open turbos, in fact my R32 T88 had no filter when it came in from Japan

You would be better raising it up as mentioned, in the wet that will get soaked and restrict air flow and you will loose power

Someone got up out of the wrong side this morning Clever in offering what I consider a cars true value to me not a 'member of an owners club value' is not taking the p**s IMO, how is your sale going BTW I have owned quite a few Supras and have been a supporter of the club for a while but lets not forget the cars I have brought where not ripped from the owners kicking and screaming, I handed over cash and they handed over keys, simple, I never camp outside someones house until they cave and sell the car, a simple cash offer then I walk away and wait As for resale I think you will find I have sold at a very reasonable rates also, and they do actually sell BTW I like to buy from the owners club because in most cases they have been well looked after Not sure why you had a pop at me, perhaps you feel my 4K offer was to low for your car, but thats what it is worth in my book not any Parkers guide etc, YOU however hold the cards, take it or ignore it, simple really

Got to expect younger poeple to be buying them now, they are so cheap and running costs like servicing will just be missed out, lets face it, how many young 'chav' owners are going to go the the expense of fully sythetic oil etc, thats why you have to watch out when buying a cheap Supra as a true lover of the marque as they often wont have been looked after

I looked at this car on ebay, the report looks ok to me, it is more than likely just an error I did not like the way the rear wheels stick out beyond the arches however, that would not pass an MOT, not sure on that mileage either

Tom with that kind of proven info I feel a club should have a section for 'viewed cars' and the members opinion on them, it would save many a wasted mile looking at cars with hidden/unknown faults
