I have to say that Turbofit in its day (forget the tuning drama) was always a good place to meet members and you could find yourself having a good few hours drinking tea and talking cars, I met a few cracking members there, Muffleman, Gamer, pig, JamieP, Gaz1, Lui, privatepile etc

You have some nice bits on the car, it would break and make you some good money I think, I for one would see the seats, dash, lights, wheels, exhaust, gauges, bonnet and steering wheels go very quickly The shell would go I am sure

Sorry mate, I am not having a go at you, you have enough on your plate! You said you were going to be honest if you sold and then said 400+ BHP, but you have no proof other than you almost caught an FQ400, that would not cut it for an experienced buyer, it may get it sold to some poor unsuspecting sod who would end up having his/her pants pulled down on here whan they came showing it off, and thats how you eneded up with it right, seller telling you he had a dyno sheet somewhere, and it goes missing, you never loose a dyno sheet IMO if it has good results ! You may find it does have 400+, but TBH it seems to have so many unknowns I doubt it and until you have the spec I would not test it on a dyno

So many things sound wrong with this set up and also sound like you have the potential to really do some damage if not sorted First of all taking out the thermo as a fix is a bad idea and I would replace with a new one It sounds like your heater matrix is completly blocked, you can bypass this (some will say this also is a bad idea) You need to get the water pump checked but if you are running normally at times then I doubt it has failed, again worth a check You say it has overheated in the past, this is never a good thing and I would avoid this at all costs going forward again If you ave no coolant flow when the pipes or open to the matrix inlet does sound like a pump or blockage issue however

I want to lighten it a bit (not Ryan lighten !!) and have some fun in it this year, if it breaks, well who cares it was cheap enough !

Tom, there will be some subtle work to follow, just want to take my time with this one, will fit UK brakes, a lighter bonnet, new exhaust, replace the seats and have a geo set up Wheels need a refurb but no rush
