Is the TE44 turbo a good turbo, I dont remember reading too much on this unit ?

I would mark the crank pulley with a white/black marker from centre to edge then go for a drive, then check to see that the line is still intact and not shifted at all, if it has moved then your crank pulley could be coming apart, worth a check if nothing else, but as you said it could just be a PS pulley or poor tension on the belt itself

fingers crossed it is something simple, but best to check it out, dont what that letting go and messing up your new rad
