  1. I good friend of mine brought himself a new Audi S5 a couple of weeks ago, knowing my love for all sporty cars he chucked me the keys fully expecting me to be blown away, I took it out for 30mins and have to say I was dissapointed in the power for such a modern V8 sports car, I never told him of course but when I tried to explain how quick a single Supra is he just could not get his head around it, unfortunatly he never got to go in my old car
  2. This wont hang around at this price, kit is worth that
  3. Yes, its was fixed and sold off to Finland
  4. Dinner for you and the wife at Marcus Wareings place http://www.the-berkeley.co.uk/marcus_wareing.aspx its a great experience
  5. Yes given it some thought and have decided to keep the engine stock, would be happy to PX with a BPU owner if the right car came along
  6. Changed my post !! it comes with this so will need an e manage or someting Powerhouse Racing Stage 1 Turbo Kit for 1993-96 Supra Non-Turbo Part # PHR Stage 1 MK4 NA PHR was the originator of the turbo conversion market for the Non Turbo Supra back in 1994, so why consider any other brand? PHR turbo kits are the absolute best quality parts you can get anywhere. If you want a low quality kit made insomeone’s garage in their spare time then you should not buy the PHR kit. Can anyone else offer you 11 years of work and knowledge on the MK4 Non-Turbo Supra? This generation II system utilizes the latest in manufacturing technology to bring you the highest quality at the lowest price. This PHR Stage 1 kit features: Extreme 2000 Black Heat Coated Cast-steel Exhaust Manifold for the Ultimate in Reliability Garrett GT60 Turbocharger with Polished Compressor Housing ITS ProGate External 50mm Wastegate Stainless Steel Oil Feed and Drain Lines 2.5” Mandrel Bent Aluminum Intercooler Piping HKS 600x300x65mm Front Mounted Intercooler Core 3” Extreme 2000 Black Heat Coated Exhaust Downpipe Vortech Fuel Management Unit (3:1 Fuel Pressure Regulator) 255lph Walbro In-tank Fuel Pump Upgrade 3” High Flow K&N Air Filter 3” Aluminum Air Inlet Piping All Hardware Necessary for a Complete Install! The Stage 1 Single Turbo System for the Non-Turbo Supra offers approximately 310-320 RWHP for automatic owners and 320-330 RWHP for five speed manual cars at only 8 psi of boost pressure! This is equivalent to the power of a mildly modified Supra Twin Turbo, so don’t be afraid to show it off! Designed to work with all factory electronics, the PHR Stage 1 Single Turbo System delivers a broad horsepower and torque curve that adds approximately 140 RWHP to an otherwise stock Non-Turbo Supra. Of course, we recommend a high quality cat-back exhaust system be added, and other options are available (but not necessary) such as a Blow Off Valve, Clutch upgrade, and MAP ECU (fuel mapping computer). Remember, the PHR Stage 1 Turbo System is designed to be a complete “bolt-on” turbo system, with no other additions required. We don’t sell you the turbo and require that you purchase an additional $2,000 in upgrades. This kit is everything you need all in one box, ready to install and run. Also, we can customize your Turbo Kit with blue, black, or red silicone couplings at no additional charge. While installation is relatively straightforward, we do recommend that the installation be performed by a qualified person with the proper tools and equipment to do the job right. This system is currently only available for the 1993-96 model Non-Turbo Supra due to variances in the air metering system. The dyno shown here is a comparison between a stock Non-Turbo and the same Supra after installing the PHR Stage 1 Kit! For a larger view of the dyno please click here. This Stage 1 kit is upgradeable to the PHR Stage 2 kit later on if you decide you need even more power, just contact us for pricing and availability. To choose the color of silicone couplers you want included in the kit, please click on More Info.
  7. This time I know you are right, But I paid less than a set of alloys for the car and brought second hand parts only so far, the PHR kit includes injectors, fuel pump, intercooler etc so only the 5 speed to worry about and they are chaep enough, never worried about resale value, the single has made all of this as an idea seem very very cheap in comparison!!
  8. $4500 for the full kit (£2900) I dont think its to bad, we shall have a chat next Monday !!, we could get a better discount for 2 and you get to fit them both !!!
  9. I would not fit a single kit , not even close ! I am going for a PHR stage 1 against all my better judgement, I have after all told many an NA owner to forget it and go TT, for that reason I want something different, I quite like the idea of around 400 BHP from a single NA rather than a TT transplant BPU, one thing I do know the NA power will not be enough once on the track later this year
  10. Well as most on here know I dont know one end of a spanner from the other so when I suggested I was going to attempt to fit some of the parts I have collected myself the doubters were out in force !! I fitted UK headlights (easy job as it happens for those who dont know but would like to try) HID kit, again very easy once you get the + and - the righ way around Cobra seat and sub frame with race harness, could not believe how heavy the stock seat was. This job took a couple of attempts as found fitting the sub frame first then attaching the seat the easiest way The rest of the work including Full decat exhaust Aux belt Carbon border bonnet New head unit strut braces TRD spoiler with carbon blade will be done by Dave (Supraloopy) next Monday, including a fresh MOT Its starting to come together for the coming season, hope it will make a good fun track car Oh and a PHR single kit is on the cards it the compression tests all all good
  11. For a T61 stock would be more than enough, why do you suggest otherwise ? I would have thought ARP bolts and maybe rods at most
  12. Car goes in next Monday and need the above to make the trip complete
  13. Hi welcome, have a look here, the PHR stage one and two are full kits http://www.powerhouseracing.com/Templates/frmtemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=134&SearchYN=N
  14. I had several offers from European buyers for my single and all but one wanted it delivered to a local port, I would have been happy to pay someone else for the hassle, maybe hitting all the Jap clubs as a trader offering this service would bring in some nice leads, my car ended up with a buyer from Finland and I would not have wanted to drive it there !
  15. In true club spirit I have a set of Jspec lights and a drivers pre facelift seat (all electrics working) to the first person who wants them for free, must pick up from Purfleet Essex cheers
  16. Driving, I have the NA going into Supraloopy's place on the 23rd for a fair bit of work, as soon as it gets a clean bill of health (and MOT) I will pay up, just want to make sure it has no hidden issues first
  17. Well not many members who have a spare set of SA70's Fitting thr Recaro seats and UK lights tomorrow along with a 6000K HID kit
  18. Cool If the forum knows anything about me and Supras it knows I dont do things by half !! you would get a great NA
  19. sounds ok with me mate, of course the car becomes more expensive after the 23rd as i am chucking a lot of parts and money at it with supraloopy !!
