The noise is normal, the tape is not, its the Charcoal canister

I know from experience that I am sure the fun in modding cars is the selecting of the car (even better when it looks a bit tired), choosing the parts, unwrapping the shiny new bits, and seeing the car transformed... The interesting bit is that as the car nears completion I crave a new project, VERY bad habit really and the reason why I never have any savings !!

You will need a piggyback ecu, something like an emanage, you will need to fix the cracked manifold (I would replace depending on where the crack is), a set of new plugs, a full engine service would be wise, I would also recommend a 1.2mm headgasket if you are going to run anything over 0.7 bar boost which with a T04R turbo is a bit of a waste if you dont TBH Also worth getting the injectors flow tested and the intercooler pressure tested

Its ok, every process takes 3 times as long as it should but hey its a job ! Yes building a car that has to be sold by xmas so wont go mad !!

I did around 800 miles, no boost on a synthetic oil, then changed oil full torque check and started to increase the boost over two mapping sessions

Mate, it just is not 8K, thats all, good luck with the sale but there are quite a few unknowns with this kit.. dont know what injectors, have they been flow tested Has the intercooler been pressure tested What is the AR of the turbo What make is the manifold and downpipe The Power house racing stage 1 kit is $4995 before discount all in brand new with everything you need for an NA-T

8K for a single kit !! What size injectors are in the kit, were is the crack in the manifold ?
