  1. Harsh, very harsh I have had both, and had auto NA, TT and Single, its a great box I think you give the skill involved in a drag launch an injustice, I think it takes a lot of skill to get it right, the Auto box helps the novice as getting through the 4 gears in a Supra is a challenge in my experience
  2. Actually forget I mentioned it and lets just keep that picture there instead
  3. That was after my Tom Tom and road angel left the windscreen and nearly took my head off as well, I was not cut out for drag racing really !
  4. maybe The truth is though BPU Autos were beating my single hands down last year, mine was all wheel spins and snatching gears for high 12's, BPU Auto, just plant the right foot and hold on
  5. it is worth more, BUT a BPU Auto is the way to go for the POD this year
  6. Buy Roberts Racing Harts, rare wheel for less than a grand
  7. No, the cap may not be sealing so it could be preventing the pressure building in the system and with this the water boils at a lower temp and hey presto you have steam get a stock fan, may not look great but does the job 100%, Jezz or Keron will have them
  8. Did the new rad come with a new rad cap
  9. I really would get it to a tuner for a good inspection, remap and check of exact spec
  10. Had to go shopping tonight and noticed Tesco Lakeside is selling a good selection of PS2 games for £3 each, includes some good titles, thought it was worth a mention for anyone who still plays with this console (including me !!)
  11. Looking very nice Dave, the car looks great, needs a new set of rims at some point, you were not joking about the DVD/CD player being a tight fit, fantastic job getting it to fit though, cheers Wonder how long I get to drive it
  12. Closed as of August last year sad to say
  13. DWS services, Whifbitz, AFR
  14. sounds like your fuel pump has been wired to run all the time (not good), check the connectors on the O2 sensor
  15. It has to be a leak under pressure, perhaps a split hose or a faulty rad cap, even an engine plug but i would not let it over heat again until its sorted When it come up to full temp can you see it dropping fluid at all ??
  16. Does not surprise me to see a Japanese map running rich, both my R32 GTR and T04R were Jap maps and were chucking fuel in, it seems to be the way with some tuners over there, you need to get the map sorted before you raise the boost anymore
  17. yes mate, looking at meeting at Dave's on Wednesday just before he closes ?
  18. You dont have an ECU problem, you have a map problem
  19. I would stop and take a deep breath before you spend any more money You have an ECU already so getting this mapped correctly would be the obvious option, you also need to get a tuner to investigate the full spec as the car will be mapped to this spec, I would talk to an F Con mapper and go from there, dont go and buy an AEM until you know what your options are with the current set up
