  1. Nah Dave I am a chef through and through, I wish I could get my head around what you can do to a car in such a short time, being a chef at the higher level is a real tough job and one you have to be 100% committed to to make it work, I have spent many many hours at the stove to get where I am today and feel very lucky to have achieved what I have so far, all thanks to something I really enjoy
  2. Cheap V8, amazing how low the BHP delivery is, how easy is it to turbo, or supercharge ?

I work for the infamous failed investment bank, winding up the business, I am the Director of Corporate Services looking after restaurants, delis, gym, reception, vending, logistics and switchboard Used to love the place but its not the same anymore I am a chef by trade, worked in some nice places over the years and miss cooking very much

  13. Stop taking the ice cream out and you should be fine
  14. Very ' show car ' which yours always was, cant imagine having my little one in there with a packet of chocolate buttons !!
  15. That is one of the better looking ones and more expensive, been discussed on here more times than I have purchased shiney bits
  16. Now you are talking, very good choice mate, he will find you a perfect example and will help you all the way, see coming on here and taking the time to ask the right questions has saved you a lot of possible hassle and money, look forward to seeing the new purchase
  17. I am a sucker for shiny stuff, looking like it will be a nice car when finished Dave, cant wait to see it
  18. Mate, you have a very very good budget and you will get a mint Supra, couple of questions Have you ever been in a Supra before, have you ever driven a TT If not get a drive in one, they are very quick cars in stock form If you are looking at a Supra for the first time and are looking for a single get a lot of advice and a ride in one, they are a different beast all together I started with a single, I knew nothing about Supras and if I am honest I did not really know want the single/TT thing was all about, it has been a long and expensive journey and I have had a few quick cars, including NA's, TT's and singles I have settled on a BPU Supra, and for the first time buyer I would suggest the same if you are new to big BHP RWD cars
  19. Yes dont buy it, and I am not joking
  20. Its been said before but if MPG really matters to you for a short trip like yours you need to get another type of car, wait till you need tyres, service and parts
  21. There is a black single on here in the for sale section that blows this one away, like I said use the forum and ask away BUT be careful as buying a highly modded car is a minefield
  22. 15 mile round trip, thats nothing, a gallon a day at worse, a lot depends on how you drive it, lotsof info on MPG if you use the search above
  23. It has a distributor and I am guessing on the 5 speed but I will place a big big wager on it
  24. Its cheap for a reason, great spec BUT its an NA that has a single conversion, approach with caution as it will be a 5 speed and it will be running very very close to the cars limit, if not beyond, a few other issues to answer to
