  1. Cracking looking car that, not a bad price either,is it a Cat D ?
  2. maybe a daft question but has the tank gone onto reserve and you have the fuel switch on normal is there a kill switch on the handle bars, is it switched to run, I know these are daft but the amount of times I did this myself it is worth asking
  3. Good choice, I would get a mapper to be with you when you start it up, the last thing you want is a fuel issue and run lean
  4. or get the mapper to come to you, what ECU are you using
  5. I would never start a car after adding injectors etc without a mapper and a base map at least, you are just asking for trouble IMO
  6. Stock bumper for a 100% fit, add a lower lip and there you go IMO
  7. They have G Wiz juice points all around London, where you can plug it in and get it re-charged, a great idea and but a dreadful car, it is a sign of things to come perhaps, although I think the hygrogen cell is more likely IMO
  8. Very nice car and a little bit of Supra history, well done mate I know you have been looking for some time, great choice
  9. Sorry to hear this but it has been fairly trouble free and you drive it in London every day so it has gone well, hope its just the turbo thats gone I would try the T67 only if you crave more power but I remember you always saying yours was fast enough for you ?
  10. BHP (Bob Harman Performance) in Watford, they worked on my Camaro and are very good guys indeed, they have a lot of expensive muscle entrusted to them, Mark at Phoenix recommended them to me http://www.uscarparts.co.uk/referrals.htm
  11. I know he is in the army or something so may have been called away, I need him to contact me, he knows why
  12. what injectors and fuel management does it come with please
  13. Yes fixed to wall like a fitted kitchen, as for postage, are you kidding, its pick up only
  14. I dont quite understand his description on the boost the car is running It is has been run in and is at 0.5 bar, then he goes on to say it runs 0.9 bar all the time, then he states its sometimes turned up If it is not mapped this could be an issue, regardless of the spec I cant understand why he would sell so cheap unless something was up Approach with huge caution IMO
  15. We shall see Have you been in a T67DBB, T04Z, T51 car, 600+ is addictive Great to see you car putting a smile on your face again
  16. How long before you are craving more power, its a disease I tell you, then you will need to look at a new turbo, may not feel like it now but just wait
  17. Used to love watching the ENVY supra at the Pod
  18. happy to take £500 for this now as I will be taking it out very soon
  19. I thought it maybe very helpful because I would be taking it back to them and insisting they find why is it so low down on power, it is not a well car for some reason and a professional tuning company should be able to tell you why If I had a car dyno low on power then pay a sum of cash for a full service and then dyno again and loose 26BHP I would expect them to already have the reason why it had lost over 10% power It could be a leak, poor intercooler or something more serious, but the answer should come from the tuner, thats what you pay them for right ??
  20. I would be taking a serious look at the garage you used if they tell you a TT is all A OK when it is obviously well down on power then chuck the keys back at you and expect you to walk away happy !!!!!
  21. What was the value of the TypeR ? I imagine the car is newer and therefore higher book value, also it is not exactly a massive downgrade in insurance groups but if it is higher value then they are more likely in the event of an accident to have to repair rather than right off Its all about risk
  22. Jazz do I remember you engine has an issue with compression though?? I would not add a single to a poor compression engine without sorting the problem first
  23. I feel the complete opposite should I ever do it again, a well looked after stock unopened engine will be fine for insane road power, and a lot cheaper that a WELL BUILT engine Only addition would be Cams for me
  24. When this much money is spent building, why oh why would a tuner not fully map the car, it makes no sense at all, I would not touch it with a barge pole unless fully mapped and dyno proven
