  1. which ever, even fewer with a true 600 at the wheels
  2. All this talk of 600 BHP makes me chuckle Who is actually running a true 600 BHP on here, a few but not many
  3. Might be cheaper finding a 2nd hand box, the labour to fix will be very high
  4. Agreed but you start with the basics 1. Check you current engine is healthy and ready for a single, a tuner can run a compression test 2. Choose your mapper and tuner, all of them do things silghtly differently and at different budgets, some offer both services 3.I would choose one who has built many proven single Supras, there are several 4. Choose what you want to car to be like to drive/live with, street 500 bhp, with a further 100 or so to spare sounds like the right car for you 5. Get the right set up for this power, 800cc injectors maybe over kill, a T04Z also maybe too much, you want optimum spool speed and power, some of the new billet turbos are putting out great power with quick spool (you will wait to get one), the T61-T67 DBB will also give an easy 550 bhp 6. Get the right supporting mods and buy quality including manifold, downpipe, fuel pump, intercooler, wastegate, exhaust, ECU, injectors, oil cooler, catch can, AFR Gauge, EGT gauge, Oil pressure gauge 7.Cams will help with top end but as JamieP has shown the stock head will deliver good power and more than enough for your current needs 8. Build with spare cash in the bank, you will need it, think about replacing the oil pump and water pump, I think it is worth it, a CAM belt, AUX belt and crank pulley change is a good idea to and of course an engine service I am sure I have missed out loads as I am thinking quickly, really demonstrates my point as it happens, this is a project that takes time and planning, do it right and you will have one of the fastest cars on the road, get it wrong and you will soon fall out of love with it and when you sell it will never cover the cost
  5. or just buy the black one you have for sale and drive a big street single tomorrow
  6. No offence first of all ok ! Your list looks like a selection of the "highlights" of this forums big power cars and not a selection of well thought out parts that will work in harmony with each other take a step back before you spend your £1000's as the pit falls are many and the costs soon mount up if you get it wrong As said, talk to a tuner like Paul and a mapper like Ryan BEFORE you buy anything, tell them what you want from the car HONESTLY, dont build for massive BHP (intake changes ETC) if you want a street monster, 500 true BHP is very quick for the street, work to a spec that allows some increase in power later so you dont get bored and make sure the supporting mods (brakes, suspension, cooling etc) can handle it Once done it as an amazing experinece, one that I have done a few times, spent thousands and never really got right because I never followed the above rules !
  7. Thank god, that's one less thing to worry about..........
  8. I started to type how much, I dont even have a car to put them in
  9. Posted via special delivery today to avoid the postal strike issues, should be with you tomorrow
  10. I would take that and move on if I was you
  11. Hi very interested if the right car, can not see the pics at work, does it have tax, MOT and service history
  12. Looks Ok but I would never buy a car I have never seen (especially from ebay) in the flesh unless it was dirt cheap, and then I would expect faults that needed to be sorted IMO a lot of cars end up on ebay as a last resort
  13. E55 AMG will get him all the respect he will ever need, second driver on this moms insurance and dad can use it on his coming visit
  14. I took my R32 to the Mersea Madness show a couple of years back to enter the show and shine with a lot of classic cars, it was a new engine bay and a very clean R32, well to cut a long story short when I looked at the real show classics arriving in their container trucks etc I hid in the corner Amazing level of detail, classic old cars in better than new condition Plenty of anorak's and pipes though
  15. Love them all and never did own one I would really like a MKI Escort with a cossie lump, mega bucks now though
  16. Its got a screen protector on it and it reflects the light of the camera, that and I should have cleaned the screen a bit
  17. Bit late for school at 9.50 am ?, are you giving them a note
  18. Wonderful car, very jealous Why on earth would you want a Supra
  19. Not with the spec you have listed without NOS, all in my opinion of course
  20. 14.7 is about right for a standard NA, nothing unusual there, the terminal is quick however
