  1. Bit of a story Dave but I did someone a big favour at work with their business, he runs a car valet/insurance/repair centre and he is paying for it to be done (to a point ) You sounded sooooooo busy from your message and I can never wait
  2. RB26 2.7 JUN Stroker with 1000cc injectors, HKS FCON V and 272 CAMS amongst other things It had stock J spec brakes, hence where my forum name comes from !
  3. Please god let that be a photoshop !
  4. Have a look at the post history on this car Every thread brings something new to the project, e.g http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=138712 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=165655 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=162278 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=154837 for starters !
  5. I know the car well, I have looked over it with respect enough times, it is one of the cleanest and best built on here I also know it will I am sure go abroad, however I know from selling mine, they want dyno figures as a must in Euro land, it is something you will have to get done to command top dollar IMO Then I would have thought £18,000-£19,000 Get it done now while Euro is still strong
  6. I drove the Vette down from Aberdeen in a day, it broke my back for 3 days after !, thats with one way being on a plane Never again I tell you
  7. I made 735 on a T04Z at 1.8 BAR, it can be done
  8. I will have a fully serviced 5.7 Litre Corvette at the SRR day, I will be lucky to see much more than 250 BHP !
  9. Will have to wait and see, but its always good to set deadlines as I have learnt in the past, if you dont it can get pushed to the corner of the workshop and forgotten about ! The challenge is parts on this car really, I want to keep it as original as I can, that is the goal
  10. About a week, it will be ready for the SRR I am promised
  11. Cars gone in this morning Full service Compression test in readyness for SC Wheels refurbed and polished New tyres all round Driver side door motor replaced All weather seals replaced Seat motor fixed Decat Paint chips removed New stereo New decals MOP and Valet All ready for SRR
  12. Might as well order the bigger turbo now, you will be bored of this one in a week ! ;)
  13. I would look at a new Toyota short block, replace stock rods with lighter rods, ARP bolts and ARP head studs, then a built head, nothing more, this would reduce cost and can take more than enough street power, I would also always add a new water and oil pump and crank pulley
  14. Have a look here mate, was a route I was thinking of taking and after my rebuild took almost a year I wish I had http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=4074&SearchYN=N
  15. Titan from the US build some tasty engines and ship to a global platform
  16. Work as hard as you can, when I was told I was to be let go I kept my chin up and worked as hard as I could through the short notice period, I was called back 2 weeks later and have been employed with them for over a year since, I have just been offered a further 1.5-2 years maybe longer, if it does not pay off you leave with your pride intact and you never know you may get that call back when things pick up
  17. A Trader like Whifbitz could get one made/located for you I am sure
  18. Welcome, you seem to have broad shoulders, you made my working day feel a bit shorter
  19. Shame they are such poor quality pictures, what about the engine bay and interior
  20. Just expense, no reason to change it ?
  21. You need to get it mapped before you drive it
  22. Mate, you have asked the NA-T question before http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=184079 Then you saw sense and put the kit up for sale, the TT engine route is far less complex and gives reliable results, seeing 400 BHP at BPU level You would be crazy to fit the kit you purchased of here, it has too many issues with an NA-T conversion
