  1. I do really like this, Auto as well
  2. Fully agree Matt and was not having a pop at AFR by the way, it really does make you think though as a customer, I would almost insist that the car be on a trailer should it need an MOT or work off site I fully understand the risks of road mapping and a total loss during this "high speed" testing is your risk but a trip to an MOT station, I would be very annoyed to say the least if I was not compensated beyond the expected poor insurance offer If you sell your "£50,000 Supra" for £13K thats your call and loss (I did !!), but for someone else to crash it and expect you to pick up the loss, that is a bit much IMO
  3. I understand your legal point here but let me ask you a question If AFR built a car for me and I spent £35K on parts and labour, then you drove the car to an MOT station to make it road legal and you crashed it you would expect the customer to walk away with whatever the insurance company deem its value and would offer no compensation seems very harsh to me, I would be very upset, this guy never even got to drive the thing !
  4. Why are you not being TUPE'd over if the role remains the same ?? thats the law
  5. Sad but I am glad to be back, was eating all sorts of stuff for the sake of it and drinking for England, I also found Mafia Wars on Face Book, its so addictive, glad to be away from it The darts was amazing but TV was rubbish this year, and as for the BB "celebs" last night not sure I can stand watching this again with her indoors so a good incentive to get my lardy self to the gym for a couple of weeks
  6. Black stig was fired for outing himself in this book, he was an F1 driver, all be it for a very short time, he did a lot of testing though His book is a good read, Perry McCarthy http://www.amazon.co.uk/Flat-Out-Broke-Formula-re-issue/dp/1844250180
  7. I would have thought JUN pistons and rods would have been a better/stronger choice I have been amazed with the power and use your stock set up has taken, just shows its best to leave a good engine stock
  8. Agreed on the fog light and the paint will mop, it still looks expensive and I bet you dont get far with the haggle with a dealer, much better NA's come up on here, in fact your Red NA was much nicer, why did you sell it
  9. Looks very expensive for an NA Auto to me Paint looks flat and that fog light !!
  10. I went in yesterday to buy this TV, ended up buying the LG 50" on offer (£699) as it had a faster refresh rate, however I paid the 19.99 for the "follow you home" deal, it was at my house in 1 hour, good service They did try to leave without opening the box and wanted me to sign "delivered unopened", I told them I wanted to see it open with them there so they could remove if damaged I hope it works out for you, I am very happy with the LG if you fancy taking it back and paying the extra £100 for the upgrade

  13. Non Supras welcome ? The Vette may actually be ready by the end of next week
  14. Drag racing with full BPU and NOS on the stock auto box will see the box break very quickly so be ready to change that and often
  15. That looks like a really easy car to work on, I would love to strip and rebuild a basic car, just for the learning experience, well done Jon and keep us posted I have not seen the Corvette for 6 weeks now while it gets a full makeover, I do wish I could do more myself, I unfortunatly dont have a garage though
  16. Went for the LG 50" Plasma from Curry's, it was £100 more than the Samsung but has a 600HZ refresh rate instead of 100 and was discounted by over £100, its on the wall now and looks great
